An excellent base to explore Kyoto, Osaka and the surrounding region from.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay and found APA Hotel Kyoto Ekikita to be a perfect location to explore Kyoto from. Kyoto Station is only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, from which you can easily explore the city by train or bus. This also grants easy access to nearby cities like Osaka and the regular Shinkansen's can quickly get you across the country.

The room was compact but had enough space for two people with luggage and bags. All the in-room amenities were in good working order and the air-con would cool the room quickly. Bathroom was also compact but clean and functional, getting hot water was never an issue. Never had any issues with noise and the elevator requires your room key, so the building is very secure.

The staff were beyond excellent! They were especially helpful with sorting our luggage transfer and saving us money on our travel arrangements to Osaka Itami Airport. When we return to Kyoto, we will be choosing APA Hotel Kyoto Ekikita.

Cons:

It would have been ideal if the bed had space underneath it for luggage. Beyond that incredibly minor issue, we have zero complaints.

Comodità e cordialità a Kyoto
Pros:

Hotel comodo vicino alla stazione. Ottimo per spostarsi in tutta Kyoto con i mezzi. A 25 minuti a piedi dal Mercato di Nishiki. Staff gentilissimo che ci ha aiutato molto con la spedizione dei bagagli.

Pros:

Como todos los APA habitaciones minúsculas, pero lo suple con los amenities. Cada dia te ponen un paquete en la puerta con toallas limpias y vasos para el café/té con sus sobrecitos de café, té y leche en polvo. Y la cercanía a la estación principal de Kioto es un plus.
En todos los hoteles de Japón en los que hemos estado el tema de productos de aseo y tema café y té (puedes cogerlos en la recepción y puedes coger todos los que necesites, sin abusar claro) y gel de ducha, champu y acondicionador, no llevéis porque los baños tienen botes gigantes. En este hotel tema cafés y esas cosas no habían en recepción, lo subían en la bolsa que os he dicho antes.

-neat room and has usb charger on bedside
- location is perfect near bus stop to go to gion and main kyoto station and japan post all walking distance
-staff are helpful
-with washroom and laundy room at the ground floor
-generous amenities

Cons:

- All APA standard room has the same room size, a littke bit small to open medium and cabin luggages at the same time.
-also you only given 1 keycard for the room so if you are charging something like your gadgets you cant do it you have to inside the room to charge
