Völlig überteuert für den gebotenen Zustand – Keine Empfehlung

Lage des Hotels

Cons:

Der Gesamteindruck des Hotels ist leider sehr enttäuschend. Schon beim Betreten der Flure fällt der schlechte Zustand auf: Die Wände sind komplett dreckig und fleckig, die Teppiche alt und verschmutzt. Zudem herrschte im gesamten Haus eine extrem stickige Luft.
​Das Hotelzimmer selbst wirkte zwar auf den ersten Blick ordentlich, war aber in den Ecken staubig. Komfort sucht man hier vergeblich: Es gab kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten, keine Zahnputzbecher, die Kosmetikbox war leer und das Bett war extrem weich. Die Raumlüftung war auch hier katastrophal. Immerhin war das Personal so nett und half uns, die Fenster weiter zu öffnen, da diese standardmäßig nur auf Kipp gingen.
​Für diesen Zustand einen Preis von 180 € (ohne Frühstück) plus 22 € für die Garage zu verlangen, ist schlichtweg unverschämt. Als wir das Personal am Abend und Morgen darauf ansprachen, wurden wir nur mit Ausflüchten abgespeist: Man bemühe sich, es werde aktuell renoviert und der Preis ergebe sich aus der hohen Nachfrage. Für den Gast ist das absolut unzufriedenstellend. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hinten und vorne nicht.

Wunderbar! Freiburg gebucht, Karibik bekommen! 20 Grad draußen, im Zimmer fast 28 Grad. Die Klimaanlage ist darauf voreingestellt - man kann sie +/- 3 Grad verstellen - für das richtige Tropen-Flair wären sogar 31 Grad möglich.

Macht nichts! Die Heizung schaltet sich ab, wenn man das Fenster aufmacht. So könnte auch der grießgrämige Norddeutsche kühl schlafen. Jedenfalls bis gegen 2 Uhr morgens. Dann kommen die ersten Sauftouristen wieder und lassen vor dem Fenster die besten Zoten hochleben, während sie noch ein paar Absacker aus dem Flachmann nehmen. Lustig!

Cons:

Ebendas. Die wirklich freundlichen Mitarbeiter erklärten brav die Funktion der Heizung äh, der Klimaanlage - nur sind 25 Grad zum Schlafen immer noch zu warm. Als das Hotel noch Super8 hieß, also vor 2 oder 3 Jahren, war es genauso. Das ist doch konsequent!

Verständlich, dass das Zimmer jetzt wesentlich teuerer ist. Die Energiekosten müssen ja reinkommen.

Positive: cleaning team does a great job. Room is clean (you need to ask at reception to get the room cleaned). That is what the two stars are for.

Cons:

TOO HOT! No AC! Parking in the garage is 22€ per day - it's not New York!
We came into the room after checkin and were shocked by the temperature 🤒

It seems the whole complex has a problem with the temperature.
Picture shows actual temperature after „opening“ window for two days. Window could only be opened in a tilted position.

Talking to the receptionist about this was not satisfying, as he was not acknowledging my complaint, but telling me bs „the window needs to be closed" (knowing from my information it was 27 and he confirmed the hotel has NO AC at all, only ventilation).

Dear hotel manager, your rooms are too hot to have a decent sleep.

I am looking forward to check out tomorrow morning.
Thanks for three sleepless sweaty nights :-(

June 7,8,9 were not very warm in Freiburg. I wonder how it must be during a hot summer.

I wish I would have been able to read this warning from others.

In the morning the smell of scrambled egg was filling our room :-(


The corridor walls were pretty dirty and marked by previous careless hotel guests, but the room was in a better condition.

Last but not least, the hotel has very thin walls and when you get reckless neighbors on your floor, you get ivoluntarily an entertainment of loud footsteps, conversations and slamming doors and such.

Zentrale Lage
Cons:

Das Zimmer war klein, laut, heißt und feucht. Wir haben in den Betten extrem geschwitzt. Man konnte sich noch nicht Mal das Wasser kochen, das geht nicht! Die Ausstattung sehr einfach.
