Our hotel visit from the begining to the end was incredible.
The hotel location is wonderful. It's 50 meters to the ocean. It's situated between two beaches - public to the left and silent to the right those made us full of relaxing and enjoying indian ocean.
The rooms are amazing with its best ocean view.
Сuisine was a bit spicy for the europe people but that resoled us to feel more of Sri Lanka traditions.
All the hotel's personal is very very pleasant, we never met such of ther great one ever.
Best of the best are kitchet team and house keeping. Every person made holiday our day the best day. thanks Ruwan and Ananda (security team) for your valued great every day service).

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Saduni and Dinuk for the thoughtful room upgrade - it made our stay even more special.
Nandana, Jagath, and the entire restaurant team — including the wonderful "hopper aunty" — went above and beyond, always checking in on us and making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.
A big appreciation to the maintenance team for their prompt and efficient service in fixing the tub - your quick response did not go unnoticed.
A very special thanks to Head Chef Rohana and his talented team for the incredible food.
Every dish was delicious, full of flavor, and truly unforgettable.

We stayed 2 nights after the new year Day. We booked 7 rooms, they didn't give the rooms on time and we faced few issues with some rooms, but RUWAN gave us a good room service. Thanks to Mr. DENUKA who helped us in numerous way during our stay. Buffet was excellent and the staff at resturant & chef's at live station also very nice. This is my 2nd stay and hope to continue

In Bentoto we stayed in Earl's regent Beruwala. The hotel services were excellent. I would like to make special mention of Gihan, Nihandu, Ravindu, Supun and Chamindu who were very caring and made special efforts to make us comfortable.

Sri Lanka’s 4 Star hotel with a difference . Lovely ambience , pristine aura . Had the privilege of enjoying the vastness of the sea with its beautiful blue waters . Perfect location . Ever so helpful , humble and caring staff at the reception and the restaurant. Special mention with a vote of thanks to Captain Selan and his team - Nevil, Sonal , Mindina and Ravindu . Gratitude for waiting upon us so late during our buffet dinner and yet the next day early morning again smilingly helping us out with breakfast .
Saminda The housekeeping service in my room was outstanding. The attendant was extremely thorough, polite, and meticulous. Every surface was left spotless, the bathroom gleamed, and the bed was made to perfection with fresh, crisp linens. Attention to detail was exceptional, from neatly arranging personal items to replenishing amenities without being intrusive. The room was returned to a state of pristine order and comfort, significantly enhancing the quality of my stay. This professional and discreet service reflects the hotel's high standards. My sincere thanks for the excellent work.
I put a considable amount of money UK sterling in the safe, and when I went to get it out several days later, most of it had disappeared. The management attitude was absolutely disgusting, especially the accountant who seems to run the place, he was downright rude, and accused me of giving the money to someone. They did not help at all, I was so upset and disappointed that I went to the Tourist Police, who were great. However it made the attitude from the hotel worse. I would not trust this hotel at all. Your valuables are not safe there
Good:
Staff - very nice and helpful
We had stayed in the same hotel few years ago but under a different management.
During that stay we liked the hotel and its services. I did search the same hotel but couldn't find. Therefore, selected this one since it was similar to the one we stayed earlier. On arrival found out it was the same hotel but management changed so did the name.
Bad:
Breakfast - most of the items were made for Indian tourists. For International or local cuisine very less choices
Buffet Dinner - this was the worse. I was very disappointed with the Buffet items. There were many items, but 98% were 100% Indian non-veg food items and made exactly as served in India. I talked to some of the staff during the buffet dinner and asked why provided 98% Indian food items where as there are some other nationalities as well in the hotel. Then those staff said last few days they did service International Buffet, but Indian tourists complained that they did not have Indian food therefore the management decided to serve Indian food items to cater Indian guests! In my point of view this was bad management decision!! If the hotel is cater only for Indian tourists then they should mention on their website that the food serves are Indian food, so other guests do not not reserve the hotel.
I must mention that since I was very unhappy with the buffet dinner one of the staff asked me whether he can ask chef to prepare some prawns for me if I am ok with them, and I agreed. It took a very long time to prepare, still I had patient and waited for the dish.
Swimming Pool - I used the pool all the 3 days during my stay, and all 3 days I complained about the guests who used the pool without having a bath. 1st day & second day Indian guests (father with young boys) jumped to the pool without having a bath. 3rd day some Chinese guests (2 adults) jumped to the pool without having a bath. Pool staff were around but none stopped them. After I informed on the 1st day then one of the staff told the young boys to have a bath before going to the pool then they took the bath.
Room - 1st room they provided me was not that safe (close to the restaurant, and the balcony was half opened to next room) & convenient for me being a solo traveller. After I said they changed to a better one which was ok.
