Would stay again.
Pros:

good size rooms, shared bathroom was clean sometimes. Nice hot showers. Could not hear pub noise or road noise.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the bathroom, floor slopes the wrong way so water pools. No hooks for clothes or shelf.

I couldn't be happier to get out and stay a day at another hotel near Auburn.
Pros:

The location is good and the pub downstairs was good. Staff were helpful.

Cons:

The rooms and the property had a stench that was too strong. It smelled of dry piss everywhere. The neighbouring rooms were very noisy. Air-conditioning wasn't working. Couldn't open windows. I dropped of my keys a day earlier than what I had booked for.

Bargain Sydney stop. Nothing flash but excellent location
Pros:

Excellent stop for the price. Photos undersell the room which while old style is much brighter. Ace location for cafes, shops, restaurants. Right by the Top Ryde centre. Bar downstairs of course. Bargain Sydney stop

Very happy with our stay. Used public transport the whole time and perfectly situated for that.
Pros:

Love staying in old pubs, value for money, great staff. I also appreciated the automatic lights in the hall.

Cons:

The bathroom facilities could do with some work. Often there was no hot water, only one shower worked and the toilet doors very loud when you opened and closed them.

Disappointing but cheap and great location
Pros:

Great location

Cons:

The shared Bathrooms were dirty and the shower head was broken so you couldn't take a proper shower. There was a weird smell in the entire upstairs area. There wasn't a proper sink in our room to fill up our water bottles either.
