Pros:

This hotel was excellent as described. We enjoyed our stay as the location, comfort and security was fabulous.

Cons:

It's a minor detail, but we found it odd that we had to get up from our breakfast and find the server in the kitchen to ask for more coffee. She was always quick to respond.

NOT good value. I would definitely rate it the last among our two-week stay in Turkey.
Pros:

Beautiful house, beautiful garden, very nice and tasteful decorations; good location, friendly staff with very limited English.

Cons:

1. Breakfast is too perfunctory.
2. Basic room facilities (slippers are probably of the worst quality).
3. We requested a double bed, got two single beds put together instead, which were not aligned properly, resulting my husband and I each almost tripping over upon the jointer.
4. We should have had a free upgrade of the room according to booking.com, but I don’t think we got it in reality.

Just like a home away from home!
Pros:

It's a place that makes you feel at home, very cosy and friendly. I loved the sitting area downstairs, lovely decorated and comfy. The location is fantastic, close to many important sites.

Cons:

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but not impossible.

A lovely hotel in a good location for walking to the town and restaurants. Also not too far to drive to Ephesus. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very traditional. The host was very friendly and interesting to talk to. Sevgi the cat was delightful!
Note, being upstairs, the water temperature and pressure could have been better. There is limited parking on the street.

Es un lugar muy buen ubicado, son súper amables y buscan que tu estancia sea increíble, solo recomendaría que el desayuno cambiará por dia (desayunamos lo mismo ambos días), pero eso no afectó en nada nuestra agradable experiencia.

Lovely small hotel nestled in a charming area of Selçuk.
Pros:

Location, the owner (who carried our luggage down two flights of stairs with gusto) and the very sweet and hardworking housekeeper and maker of the delicious breakfasts. Also, the hotel’s sweet kitty who greeted us each day upon our return from our adventures.

Hotel Mary's House didn't disappoint!
Pros:

Perfect location to access Ephesus and Ephesus Museum! The owner was exceptionally helpful for transfers to and from Kusadasi Port and for the Ephesus tour, which was wonderful! Breakfast "tapas-like" was absolutely delicious. Their two children, 10 and 12 were a delight, trying to teach me Turkish words. 😂
The room was tended to daily with fresh bottled water.

Cons:

We're not sure if it was an exception but we had no hot water. We did not inquire because it really didn't matter over 3 nights. It would have been helpful to have a clothes rack to dry our clothes on the balcony after washing in the room.

Pros:

We had an amazing stay at this hotel, it’s a family-run business, and we truly felt at home throughout our entire visit. The breakfast was great and really tasty, and it was a lovely way to start each day. The location is also fantastic, it’s a safe, beautiful area where you can easily walk to many places, and there’s convenient access to transportation as well.

The family were incredibly kind and sweet, making the experience even more special. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in the Selçuk area!
