Zweckmäßig in Ordnung
Pros:

Die Lage ist direkt am Strand. Vom Balkon hatten wir über den Parkplatz (gilt für alle Meerblickzimmer) Sicht zum Meer.
Wie überall kommen Zusatzkosten für das Parken dazu (Valet).
Für unsere Durchreise war es in Ordnung. Länger Wären wir nicht geblieben.

Cons:

Der Empfang war unterkühlt. Die Klimaanlage war im Zimmer sehr laut (wie ein Traktor). Das Zimmer war nicht ansprechend. Würde es mit einer Studentenunterkunft vergleichen. Zweckmäßig. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer, beginnend beim Bett, ist ausbaufähig.
Wir haben in diesem Hotel nichts genutzt außer dem Zimmer.

Newer doesn’t always mean better stay.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable.

Cons:

Lack of communication. It was hot in the rooms. Took 3 times to get someone to explain to leave the key card in the slot to keep the air on. There was no microwave to reheat food. The refrigerator was not cold.

Heerlijke tussenstop langs route 1, prachtige pier.
Pros:

Fijne tussenstop locatie langs route 1, omschrijving en verwachting die gecreëerd wordt bij boeking is correct. Mooi hotel en kamer. Fijn dat er een drankje wordt aangeboden op rooftop bij aankomst.

Cons:

Zonde dat er bij dit niveau van hotel apart parking betaald moet worden. Vallet parking 30 dollar + tip.
Ochtend lawaai van straat en schoonmaak ploeg. Perfect op te lossen door oordopjes wel.

Beautiful and pricy
Pros:

Room was beautiful and spacious and clean. Love the location right next to the beach in the heart of Pismo. Breakfast is also very good in lobby. Enjoyed the water in the lobby and the coffee maker in the room

Cons:

The front desk staff was very rude and cold to us. We didn't even have any issues but they were just not friendly. We also would have liked an extra set of towels in our room without asking. shower was weird and did not have a door so bathroom gets all wet and no extra towels

Overall great location, mostly amazing staff.
Pros:

Perfect location, all staff, aside from the front desk, was amazing. Highly recommend reserving a daybed at the pool.

Cons:

The front desk. The check in process and front desk staff (the folks we directly dealt with before the GM got involved to help) was disappointing, they lacked the most basic components of customer service. Didn’t ask for a manager, was just trying to get situated especially since we were traveling with a baby and had just had a 5 hour drive. Didn’t ask for any special accommodations or make have any type of demands (outside of just inquiring if the 2 rooms would be next to each other) was told no and accepted the answer understanding that the ask wasn’t guaranteed, but clearly there was a problem from the lack of eye contact, the mumbling and then the non productive gossiping as you’re sitting right across them wait for your room, SMH at all of it. For the price alone, do better.

This was a pistol on the way to some important appointments my sister had in Santa Barbara . We had never been to Pismo
Pros:

I loved the location. The rooftop was beautiful and the roof top staff were very friendly and welcoming. I also like that the customer service kept us updated once we physically got to the hotel and did everything he could to get our room cleaned.

Cons:

I didn’t like that we arrived at 1pm and couldn’t get Into our room until after 5pm. I also didn’t appreciate the time of 49 minutes and multiple phone calls to the front desk that it took to receive our luggage which caused us a delay from our activities. Also was given a broken microwave to use.

$250 cleaning fee for "not smoking"
Pros:

This was our fourth time staying at this hotel and everything has always been perfect before. After arriving home I noticed a $250 charge on my credit card statement and I called them to find out why. They told me it was due to smoking in the room and that the next guests refused the room because of the smell. We smelled it slightly when we checked in but didn't complain. We did not smoke in that room but got charged anyway. The guests before us must have smoked in there but we got blamed for it. You would think the housekeepers would have reported it before we got the room AND before the next guests got the room. We will be staying elsewhere the next time we visit Pismo Beach. Also, we are long time Hilton Rewards members but they would not refund my $250. So disappointed.
