This place is filthy. Do not stay here. It is definitely not worth the money.
Pros: Close to the city center, without too much of the noise. The entrance door is very beautiful. The stairs spiral in an elegant way. They have a semi "pub" for quite drinking in the evening. They don't serve any food, but they do have cider, beer and wine. It is cute. Staff are willing to help, albeit grudgingly. Staff are somewhat rude sometimes, but they are definitely helpful. There is actually something about the staff that I like a lot.
Cons: IT IS DIRTY!!! Street is somewhat clean, but it is still a city street that looks like a city street. The hotel manager or staff must be used to the dirt outside because they do not clean the trash directly outside the hotel entrance. You have to step over it to reach the door, and the same trash is there for days. This doesn't make sense since the door is so pretty.
Also, they don't like to clean the rooms. The receptionist said that they clean every three days. Therefore, they have a small door hanger on the wall, stating that your room will not be cleaned unless you hang the sign on the door.
I saw this sign the first night, and I hung it on my door each day. My room was still not cleaned. Our group of four had three separate rooms, and none of the rooms were cleaned, and when cleaned, were not properly cleaned. They give you new towels and additional toilet paper. But they absolutely WILL NOT change your sheets, sweep the floor or wipe anything. If you have crumbs or hair on the bed before they clean, you will still have hair and crumbs on the bed after they clean. If you left your breakfast tray on the table before they clean, your breakfast tray will still be on the table after they clean. (So if you leave your breakfast tray in your room at 7am, hang the green sign to alert them that you want your room cleaned, the breakfast tray will still be on the table in your room when you return from your tour at 4pm). If you have dirt on the floor from your hiking shoes before they clean, you will still have dirt on the floor from your hiking shoes after they clean. I only had a completely clean room once after I sent an email to management. It went back to being poorly cleaning the next day. This gets very annoying because you leave early in the morning for a tour or shopping. You put the green sign on the door. You come back to relax, and the room is just dirty. You might as well get an Airbnb for half the price. This place is definitely not worth a consideration.

The location is amazing (especially the view from our room). The size is just right. The breakfast selection was plenty full without getting the feeling half of it is getting thrown away every day.
The room was extremly small (11sqm) which is fine when it is optimized. But the bathroom missed any shelfspace and the shower was very splashy so the whole bathroom was wet after showering. (Both would not be that much of an issue, when the room is larger.)
The mini fridge was broken and even though we notified the reception right away it was not fixed during our 3 night stay.
Also the room was never cleaned, which is fine, but the bin was also never emptied and we did not get fresh towels (which would also be fine, if they are not soaking wet due to the splashy shower and don't have a proper plase to hang them to dry).

Hotelli oli aivan liian ylihintainen tasoonsa nähden! Ei pelkkä sijainti ja ajankohta voi hintaa määrittää, sillä lähistöllä ja muualla kaupungissa oli vielä kalliimpia hotelleja. Henkilökunta olisi voinut olla paljon ystävällisempää. Epäsiistit käytävät. Sisäänkirjautuminen pubissa. Varsinainen vastaanottotiski auki vain muutaman tunnin, muutoin tiski pubissa. Hotellihuone kesti kauan lämmetä.

The beds are narrow; also, there are no bath mats and it’s impossible to take a showe without spraying the whole bathroom

Frühstück überschaubar, nur bis 0930, dann muss man rasch gehen; Reinigung der Zimmer erfolgt nur, wenn man das bis 0930 über einen Zettel an der Tür kommuniziert

Los dormitorios son muy pequeños.
Ubicación excelente. Desayuno bueno excepto el cafe, pero hay un starbucks muy cerca.
Habitación justita, sólo hay un ascensor. No hay un lobby cómodo. No tiene gimnasio ni piscina. No tiene un restaurante. Todas estas cosas las espero de un hotel de 4 estrellas. No hay ni dónde guardar maletas para el dia que te vas.
Bergen is good city
This hotel if you not inform they no clean the room and if you inform by hang the notice before 9:30 am and they can choose to clean or not clean according to their mood. and if they not clean they just say sorry and tomorrow you will check out also. room very tiny.
l strongly doubt staff is cheating the boss by claim more cleaning fee from supplier but actually no clean.
This hotel called harbour but from window you can see no any water. very small room like 10 square meter with 350 USD er night in early august. price is for good service but they even no clean my room when l hang out notice at 7:30am and back 22:00 and shocked all no clean. and reception at August 8th the day. reception girl just say sorry and clearly she not care and not sorry at all.
pls avoid this hotel since you deserve better.

Excellent location.
I stayed in a compact single room. Well, it was very, very cramped. The size of the room was enough to even to fit one check-in and hand-carry luggage. The bathroom was very squished up. The vanity was a mini version of it. The breakfast spread was very shallow. Better to have breakfast outside the restaurants and cafeterias. Not worth booking with the breakfast option.
