Very overpriced by UK standards but Norway is very expensive

Pros:

Vanlig, inget speciellt med frukosten men det mesta fanns. Rullgardiner som gjorde rummet mörk på natten, tyst när fönsterna var stängda. 2 fåtöljer med bord. Mysig frukostplats, inte som en stor sal.

Cons:

Superio rummet var inte superio kvalité. Trångt, vara ett litet sängbord, utsikten skulle vara fin men man såg bara utsiktsplatser man stod upp och lutade sig fram. Såg inte ut när man satt ner. Inget extra möbler, ingen byrå, lådor eller garderob. Dålig hårtorkIngen Waoo känsla alls. Jätte dyrt för ett sådant enkelt rum. Vanlig bredd på säng. Man kunde inte tända bara några lampor utan antingen alla eller ingen. Graderna på badrummet lyste starkt i rummet på natten. Ingen särskild service känsla. Fick ingen hjälp med frukost när vi skulle gå tidigare till tåg till Oslo. Men inte otrevliga.

Stunning stay! Thank you!
Pros:

Our stay was perfect. We got the beautiful corner superior room and I highly recommend the upgrade. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we ever had and the bathroom was lush, with a bath and walk-in shower. It’s also super clean and the housekeepers are great. Breakfast was excellent, they also have coffee and pastries free all day, and the hotel is super cute. Location is also perfect, just on the street behind Bryggen, so close enough to everything but away from the main noise. Thank you Bergen Harbour! We will definitely be back one day!

Upon our arrival, Irene and the manager both went out of their way to provide us with the best room.
Pros:

Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Room 508 was outstanding and Irene was most gracious.

Cons:

I made a non-refundable booking with payment on 29 April 2025 for 21 & 22 March, 2026. On 21 September, I requested that the booking for 21 March be moved to 3 April because KLM did not have an available flight arriving on 21 March. I was not asking for a refund. My request was 6 months prior to the booking so the hotel would lose nothing. I was even willing to pay a change of booking fee. Management unreasonably refused to do so. That was a bad business decision. I therefore booked another hotel for April 3 and my daughter booked another hotel for 21 March and 3 April because of this.

great hotel in the middle of everything, staff all excellent, very quiet room with really comfortable bed, huge choice of breakfast, overall couldn't fault a thing.

The staffs are all very friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant, city center and all kind of stations are in walking distance. It’s not nearby the main street, which is a advantage that not be noisy.
