Close to everything, lovely walk to the port

Great location quiet nights, lovely breakfast and evening meals, all staff very friendly will stay again.
Could do with more individual bed lights.

The staff were great. Very helpful and professional. The room was clean and had all the facilities we required, however it was a little small for a double room.
It was the buffet dinner 2 of the nights which were not as delicious as the a la carte menu.
The location, the staff and the welcome were lovely and we were upgraded to a much bigger room.
The food in the restaurant wasn’t amazing but

Mind-numbing piped music throughout hotel. We were told breakfast was served from 7.30. Arriving at the breakfast area at 7.31, we encountered a sharp-elbowed tour group intent on grabbing breakfast before their bus left. Some of our preferred items from the buffet were already cleaned out.

Nous avons été surpris d'avoir été relégués dans un bâtiment derrière l'hôtel. Ceci pour avoir choisi une chambre avec un grand lit.
C'était bruyant, avec une vue sur un container, et sur un parking où il y avait un car de touristes tous les jours. Nous n'avions pas compris cela en réservant, mais nous nous sommes adaptés...
La porte d'entrée, bien qu'elle fermait parfaitement, n'inspirait pas la sécurité.
Dated, but not in a bad way- the room decor keeps the Victorian charm of the original building
The pool was freezing, the steam room was on a timer which never let it heat up completely, and cooled to room temperature over a 10 minute cycle-when the steam pump turned off, so did the lights so sitting in the dark getting gradually colder. Changing rooms very small and door from corridor opens straight in to the changing rooms very small itself, showing all if anyone was walking past! Ended walking 15 minutes up the hill to the very reasonably priced public leisure centre for a swim and sauna.
