I found the hotel to be adequate for my needs but I was a bit disappointed by my room.
Pros:

Th location was very good. The parking was slightly inadequate and my bedroom door was two inches from the floor causing a cold draught. I bumped into the walls/eaves a couple of times and I am small! The breakfast was very good.

Cons:

The Hotel was a bit old fashioned

Pros:

L’emplacement est très agréable mais encore faut il avoir une chambre avec vue.
La piscine est grande mais défraîchie. Comme tous les équipements.
Gentillesse des réceptionnistes.

Cons:

Salle de bain et décorations d’un autre temps.
Breakfast de qualité très moyenne.
Vue catastrophique sur des tuyaux d’aération mais il y’a pire, les bungalows avec vue parking. Fuyez les suites parentales!!!
Hammam impossible à utiliser sauf si voulez vous suicider, la température doit frôler les 80 degrés.

Excellent hotel, we will go again
Pros:

The food was outstanding. compliments to the chefs
Also the restaurant/bar staff and room where extremely friendly and happy. was lovely to see
there was water still and sparkling in our room.

Cons:

room had no lift, though not a problem. the overall building was historically old and wonderful.

Good coffee at breakfast.

Cons:

The decor in the bedroom was very gaudy, and the standard of work in doing up the room was poor.
There seems to be way too many pictures in the corridors and some pretty awful fake flower displays. The place would look so much better without them.
The whole building needs updated and refreshed, very creaky floors.

Great location in Oban, which is beautiful and definitely worth visiting.
Pros:

The property is beautiful and in a great location, just a short walk from the center of the town center, which meant it was quiet at night. Loved the easy walk from the hotel to the lighthouse, castle and wooded walking path on the hill above the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and staff could not have been nicer. Only minor complaint is that the room was somewhat dated (probably to be expected in an older building) and the bed was not comfortable. But overall we very much enjoyed our stay there.

Personnel agréable. Emplacement sur le front de mer

Cons:

Chambre vieillotte et exiguë. Avons été attaqués par des insectes ou des araignées durant la nuit. Très pénible car cela nous a occasionne des démangeaisons plusieurs jours.

Tolle Lage im schönen Oban. Frühstücken mit Blick aufs Meer. Sehr nettes Personal, süßes Zimmer, es gab sogar Kakao auf dem Zimmer. Kostenfreier Parkplatz. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Expensive and so much wrong with this hotel I would not return.
Pros:

Superb location overlooking the sea at the quieter end of the promenade. Definitely worth booking a sea view room.
Reception staff friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Broken bedside table lamp; weird curtains that have embroidered holes in them so don’t shut out daylight; large tv that covers the dressing table mirror making it unusable; Indian themed items at odds with Scottish location; random screws and fixings left out unused; inedible restaurant meals (cooked as if from a recipe by someone who has never cooked before and has no idea how something should look or taste).
