Parking - There is no parking in the hotel, but they rent a few parking places in a garage not far from the hotel. Located in a narrow side street, the garage is a bit difficult to find for the first time.
Amazing property for excellent class 5 star services and rooms. It’s located right on the canal and across is St Nicholas cathedral. Easy walk to everything
It’s located right in downtown across from cathedral w trolleys going by always and music from street establishments.
Ear plugs are provided tho and worth using .

All perfect! The name in Booking.com strangely is Porter’s House. But it’s called Post hotel 1889 so we had some trouble finding the entrance.
Todo. En otro hotel había comentado una vez: “lindo hotel para ir a sacar fotos” en The Post, digo: excelente hotel y además podes sacar muy buenas fotos. Lugar excelente.

Booked The Post for a short break in Ghent and very pleased with it. Perfectly located for walking round the town.
The room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. Great view of Saint Nicholas' Church across the square.
The staff were fantastic - very helpful, friendly and efficient.
