One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in Yerevan. The room was extremely disappointing from the moment we walked in. The bathroom and shower were in terrible condition — weak water pressure, inconsistent hot water, and everything felt old and poorly cleaned. The washroom had a bad smell the entire stay and honestly looked like it hadn’t been properly sanitized in a long time.
The cleanliness of the room overall was unacceptable. Dust everywhere, stained sheets, dirty corners, and the whole place just felt neglected. Definitely not what you expect from a hotel charging these prices.
What made the experience even worse was the staff. Most of them were rude, unprofessional, and acted like helping guests was an inconvenience. Simple requests took forever or were ignored completely. They also advertise service, but there’s basically no proper 24/7 support. Late at night there was barely anyone available to help with anything.
The hotel looks much better online than it does in real life. I genuinely regret booking here and would not recommend Royal Plaza Hotel to anyone visiting Yerevan.
Located in a great place, where it's always alive and beautiful, easy access to markets like SAS, Zovq and City, a few minutes walk to the beautiful 4 seasons and zeytuna parks and restaurants.
Rooms door lock where not safe and sometimes not working, safe box was not working, breakfast was very medium and since not included in our room, you can definitely eat a better and yet cheaper meal in very close places like DOC or Jazzve in Tumanyan. Staff were very much sensitive on any balance and reminding you in every possible occasion with excuse of 'This is Hotel Policy"!

130 dollars for room with the broken locked on the door it’s too much. I move three times in the hotel, because all the rooms were very old and broken. The price is overwstimated. Moreover, once they called me to room 110 and told that the window holder is broken in room 306. But i moved from room 306)))) they wanted grab some more money… highly not recommended!!! Holiday inn is much better.
