This hotel was a fantastic find. Perfect location between Positano and Praiano. We arrived to extremely friendly and helpful staff this continued through out our stay. Phoning restaurants for us, shuttle bus service. They went above and beyond. I cannot recommend enough. Our sea view room was breathtaking. The room was extremely clean and quiet. If you are visiting the Amalfi coast stay here. A short trip from the hustle and bustle in Positano. Perfect location to visit Positano, Praiano and Capri and Amalfi via ferry if you are not driving (departing from Positano)

Igea (owner) and the entire staff are A+. Views are gorgeous and the hotel is incredibly clean and well cared for. As boutique hotels go it’s a wonderful experience. Shout out to the entire reception and concierge staff, the incredible bartenders and Alessandro and the wait staff. Meraviglioso!

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Piccolo in September 2025 for our wedding, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make our stay special, nothing was ever too much trouble. Each breakfast felt like a special occasion and the daily shuttle into town was incredibly convenient.

On our wedding day, the service was exceptional. The hotel manager even offered to drive our car back for us so we could fully enjoy our day in Positano without worrying about parking, such a thoughtful and generous gesture that meant a lot to us.

We booked four rooms and used the largest suite to get ready on the morning of the wedding. The staff were incredibly accommodating and supportive throughout, helping everything run smoothly and making the day feel even more special.

Thank you to everyone at Hotel Piccolo for your kindness, attention to detail and for playing such an important part in one of the most memorable days. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Positano!

The location, the staff, the cleanliness, everything

I booked for 2 nights as a secret proposal and birthday for my partner and it was simply amazing…breathtaking views, the staff are there 24/7 for you via WhatsApp making your trip effortless and as enjoyable as possible.

The hotel itself is very secluded and so peaceful, we went out of season…from what I learnt I would not go to this part of the world in high season as it is not built for the influx of tourists! Sept-Oct still has the weather but far less busy.

The hotel has a free shuttle bus service which ferries you to and from the local towns, it is SUPER helpful as nothing is within walking distance from the hotel unless you’re hiking. Everyone at the hotel is so polite, knowledgeable and professional, the food is also amazing, it’s the best service I’ve ever experienced…well worth the money.

We rented a car to get to and from the airport, they have plenty of parking space however driving on the amalfi coast is not for the faint hearted or unskilled driver!
