We stayed at this hotel for five nights. At check-in we were assisted by a trainee. We had booked a Deluxe King Room, but the room had a strong musty smell. After informing the Duty Manager, we were immediately offered another room, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the replacement room did not have a true king-size bed as advertised. It was two single beds pushed together (a Hollywood bed), and the fitted sheet had large holes. The next morning we reported this, and the Duty Manager professionally upgraded us to an Executive Room with a proper king-size bed.
The following day, however, an incident occurred that completely ruined our stay. While I was not present, one of the hotel's security guards made an extremely inappropriate and degrading remark to my girlfriend, implying that she was a prostitute waiting for my money. She felt sexually intimidated, humiliated, and unsafe. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from someone responsible for guest safety.
We immediately met with the General Manager and were seriously considering reporting the incident to the police. The General Manager apologized, offered compensation, and arranged for a written apology from the security guard. While we appreciate that management took the matter seriously, no apology or compensation can undo an incident like this.
The following morning at breakfast, another issue occurred. A couple entered the restaurant wearing wet swimwear while families with young children were dining. Staff did nothing, and the restaurant supervisor told us there was no SOP regarding appropriate attire in the restaurant, which was surprising for a four-star hotel.
Although the Duty Manager and General Manager handled our complaints professionally, the combination of several smaller issues and, above all, the shocking incident involving the security guard completely overshadowed our holiday. Guest safety and respect should never be compromised, and I sincerely hope the hotel takes meaningful action to ensure this never happens to another guest.

The resort is grand and the swimming pools are amazing. The breakfast was lovely as well with a fresh and diverse menu.
The resort is located in an area where there are no shops or eateries around. The resort runs a shuttle service to the beach and commercial area nearby but they run only a few times a day. You have to rely on a taxi or rent a scooter to move about.
Rooms are clean. Food is really good. Staff were the best. Special thanks to Gita, Gede and team.

Staff were exceptional- Yuna was so friendly and able to check us in right away.
The staff are all so friendly and the view from the balcony was amazing!! We also had noisy neighbours at one point playing loud music at 5am which woke me up, immediately, reception sent security up to ask them to turn it down! The rooms are so clean and it’s so peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of the main uluwatu strip. The service at this hotel is second to none and I’d return in a heartbeat :)
The pool was a bit dirty around the edges and I didn’t fancy going in it but that’s the only thing! 😄
