Lovely property near Voss. Stayed in conjunction with the scenic train and and Alfrend was an enthusiastic greeter at the station at prompt pickup. Idyllic setting w breathtaking views. The history of the place is remarkable. Best of all, the dinner. I would say worth a trip from anywhere. Just scrumptious. The trout was done to tender moist perfection. The venison tasty and also so tender. Every bite on the plate was sublime.
Huge towels, perfect mattress and bedding.
Goat bells in the vicinity. Charming!

The property and room were exactly like the photos. A cute, small and intimate family run hotel and restaurant. It was located right in Voss, just 5 minutes from the main road. The food was excellent - dinner at the restaurant at night is different every day, and breakfast is included. They use only farm grown or local ingredients for everything. It was quiet and peaceful on the property.

Unique location with a view of sheep out the window, a bit away from the town (definitely not walkable with luggage up hill!!!!!) but It had great charm. Staff was nice.

Beautiful pastoral setting. - hills, mountain, lake. Very nice owners and staff. The restaurant on site , Flor'n, had excellent good and the servers all very nice and friendly. Lovingly renovated property with quality materials and workmanship.

The location was beautiful with views across the valleys. We were warmly welcomed and settled into our very comfortable room.
Dinner in the restaurant was of a very high standard and we loved that the food was from the farm or local suppliers. It was a real gastronomic treat.
We enjoyed talking to the owners learning more about the local area and history.
It was a very special and relaxing stay in Voss and was definitely the favourite hotel of our holiday (we stayed in 5 hotels across Norway, Denmark and Swedes).

A very special family run hotel with excellent service and first class restaurant.
We were well looked after by the staff who also drove us to and from the town centre. The historic farm has been developed into an interesting hotel with comfortable rooms and welcoming areas to relax. Magnificent views from the restaurant and garden.

This is a special place, wonderful location, delicious dinner, but what made it special is the family running the property. You are treated like family, but given the privacy expected for a high end hotel.

Beautiful location and very friendly and helpful owner. Dinner was fantastic and the breakfast was also excellent with a good variety of options.

Property couldn’t have been better, attentive host and lovely room. Great value for money, amazing scenery and perfect location. Breakfast was amazing, sets you up for whatever your plans are. Loved hearing about the history of the hotel, like an air b&b!! Don’t miss this if you’re in the area
