We stayed here for an night before an international flight. We found the beds to be comfortable, the pool to be a good temp, and the staff to be kind. The breakfast was fairly middling but it did the job.
The hotel worked fine, but was pretty generic. We wanted to walk around but found the pedestrian experience in this area to be pretty challenging.
It's got a nice high class feeling. The front desk staff was very friendly and check in was smooth. They were great when I had to go back and get something i left in the room. They helped me by bringing a luggage cart to the parking garage when we arrived. The key card had a little note card with helpful numbers, breakfast times and location of facilities that I thought was a great idea. The pool had floaties in it which my kids loved. Breakfast had a lot of options and changed between the 2 days which was nice. They had a "special" strawberry waffle mix with chocolate chips and 4th of July sprinkles. My kids were thrilled! TV was easy to use, room was very nice sized and the mini fridge was great, couch was comfy, desk chair and ottoman were also nice. Lots of table space which I appreciate.
I didn't realize I'd have to pay for parking in their parking garage. $17 a night on top of a $200+ room seemed a bit much. The pool was pretty chilly when I thought it was heated. The housekeeping staff wasn't as friendly when we asked for a garbage bag, and even gave my 9 year old an eye roll when she handed them the full bag. The bed was very very firm. I barely slept our first night and even my 5 year old woke up complaining of her back hurting. The 2nd night I slept on top of the pillows and it was a bit better but not great. Our sink drained slowly and the shower head was a bit wild and sprayed the floor anytime I had to Crack the curtain to help wash my kids' hair. And the bathroom fan was on continually and it was pretty loud. And the blackout curtain wasn't attached fully one side so it left a small Crack of light shining in the room when the kids tried to go to bed. My year old said the couch bed was too hard and "boney".
Location and ease of getting to the hwy/freeway.
The parking garage was way too tight and they had lots of the bottom level blocked off. Ended up having to park in the only available spot and it was SUPER tight to get into.
This is an amazing property and location easy in and off of highway. The pleasant Atmosphere-close to walking trail. The rooms a clean and spacious along with covered parking makes it pleasant on the rainy days. -always a smile and warm welcome from the staff. They were always polite asking if everything was okay.
Quiet rooms some with a view, and the patio is a nice touch.
I traveled to Renton with family members, so we had several rooms for six days. The location is great and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Coffee and tea are available at all times in the lobby. The included breakfast is nice, and one of the reasons this hotel was chosen, but the hot items did not change during the week. It would have been nice to have a little variety in the hot items. The maid service could have been better. We left early each morning and a couple of times our room was not cleaned.
My one and only complaint with the hotel was the intermittent loud running of water late night, early morning and during the night. Loud enough to wake you up. It seemed the pipes are not insulated at all. If you do not like to be awakened at all hours of the night by running water from the room above (assume it was from above) do not stay here. Family members in other rooms reported the same noise from the water pipes. Due to this one major factor, I am really not sure I would stay here again and can only recommend with a caution. If you are a sound sleeper or staying only a few days, maybe the water pipe noise will not be an issue.
Location was great. Close to shopping, a variety of restaurants, and entertainment. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. The rooftop patios were a great addition, however, one was very small and did not look like it was kept up as well as the larger patio.
The room was very spacious and clean. Two negatives. I requested foam pillows, they were very thin and not comfortable, I should have kept what was already in the room. The temperature was hard to control. The thermostat on the wall seemed to be going out. I would set it to a temp and try to turn the fan on while I slept for the white noise but the fan would not stay on for more than a minute or two and would not turn back on unless I got up to adjust the temperature a degree or two or the screen would go black all together and turn off.
The bathroom was huge, great positive. However, I had a traditional tub vs a walk in shower, no big deal but there was nothing on the tub floor to prevent slipping. There was a few times I thought I might have a fall, scary when staying alone.
Front desk service was friendly. Did not have to interact very often with them.
Wish there was more then just the little convenient market to grab a cocktail at, those always seem overpriced for what is offered. Thankfully there was shopping near by to stock op on snacks and drinks.
This hotel was excellent value for money, with very comfy rooms, friendly and welcoming staff and a good breakfast, included in the price. It is only a short walk from the lake (5 mins) where the other (considerably more expensive) hotels are located.
All good, considering the price point.
Great location by one of the beach parks.
Room size was unexpectingly large.
The breakfast buffet was below average.
