Location and pool

Cons:

Didn't have a bar fridge, not a blanket for use in room , had to ask to get anything , extra pillows, towels, instructions were limited

Nos gustó que tuviera acceso directo a la playa y duchas para cuando vuelves, ya que hay muy pocos lo tienen, hamacas privadas y una piscina Infinity con vistas al mar. Muy buena ubicación y muy rico el desayuno.

Cons:

Las imágenes no coinciden del todo con el lugar, parece estar rodeado de césped pero en realidad es arena todo por lo que entra mucha arena en la habitación y es algo incómodo. Necesita una mano de limpieza y mantenimiento.

Bel établissement et de belles chambres avec un emplacement idéal.
Pros:

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre chambre avec vue sur la piscine qui d’ailleurs est très agréable. L’océan en bruit de fond est magique.

Cons:

La salle du petit déjeuner n’est pas très chaleureuse ni confortable.

Pros:

Really nice rooms, comfortable beds, clean rooms. Great location right on the beach and very close to great restaurants and bars. Despite being so close to bars etc or is still very quiet for sleeping. Staff are all very friendly and the grounds are really well maintained

Cons:

The only negative is the bathrooms could do with a little refresh but it's not major. Due to sandy location would be ideal to have the rooms brushed out daily. However the staff do clean on the same day upon request so this is ok

Pros:

Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Als je vraagt om schoonmaak wordt het meteen geregeld. Prima ontbijt, maar eenvoudig en niet veel keuze. Ligging is perfect op het strand en alles dichtbij. Zwembad is heerlijk.

La posizione, la piscina, la gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff.

Cons:

La colazione non era molto varia. La struttura un po' trascurata, avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo non è ottimale. La staff è sotto organico. La pulizia è da rivedere, abbiamo trovato molti insetti in camera, purtroppo.

Beautiful area to spend time but very over priced
Pros:

The location of the property was fantastic sitting right on the beach. You were also right in the heart of the main area for shopping and eating.

Cons:

For the cost of the property it was lacking some basic facilities such as a small fridge in the room, regular change of towels, cleaning of apartment, quality breakfast kitchen facility

Pros:

Rocco's is in a great location, right on the beach and within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Arugam Bay itself is fantastic, and it's easy to wander out for a meal or drink at any time.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the accommodation didn't live up to the price. We're paying around AUD $350 per night for a beachfront room, and honestly, the beachfront aspect adds very little. The ocean view is minimal, and I don't think our experience would have been much different staying a couple of blocks back from the beach at a significantly lower cost.
The rooms are very basic and lack some amenities you'd normally expect at this price point. There isn't even a small fridge in the room, so you can't keep drinks cold. The staff are happy to store items in their fridge, which is appreciated, but it's not particularly convenient.
Breakfast is included, but we chose not to eat there. The dining area is a concrete-floored room with glass windows and little atmosphere. It feels functional rather than welcoming and lacks the character you'd expect from a beachfront property.
The pool is fine, but there is no pool bar, and many of the poolside and beachfront lounges have seen better days. Some are broken, and the cushions are worn and tired.
Overall, the staff have been friendly and the location is excellent, but the property feels overpriced for what it offers. At AUD $350 per night, we expected a more polished, resort-style experience with better facilities and attention to detail. For the current price, the value for money simply isn't there.

Great stay. Great staff. Unique stay in Arugam Bay.
Pros:

Location. Location. Location. Direct beach access, and only property on the stretch with a pool. Casual walk to surf point, or a sweet swim there with goggles on in the morning. Fabulous restaurant right next door too.

Cons:

Air conditioning units were very noisy and distrusted sleep.

Magique !
Pros:

Le staff était incroyablement très gentil. À l’écoute et très arrangeant ! Je recommande ce lieu très bien placé . La piscine était très bien entretenue.

Uncomfortable, dirty, expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at in Sri Lanka
Pros:

The location was good. The staff were lovely and accommodating.

Cons:

The property was dirty, linen such as bedsheets and towels were threadbare and looked like they needed a good bleach, rooms were terribly small and dark. Noisy with all the bars nearby. Pool was not maintained to standard, there was lots of algae in the tiles. Bird crap everywhere. We did not enjoy our stay here.
