Bed was very uncomfortable (hard for
Me) and the staff bothered me the day before getting things wrong saying I only had two spa bookings (when I had three) and saying I didn’t have pre paid breakfast included and I had to pay again (which I did and had to scroll to all my old emails to prove)

The staff were amazing. Everything was clean and tidy

Cons:

The aircon wasn’t great, and then sun came in the room and made it so hot even with the blinds closed. We had aircon on for the day and the cleaners turned it off so when we can back in the room felt like a sauna and took forever to cool down.

Amazing and will book again. Have stayed twice already.
Pros:

Amazing location, amazing service. So very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful view of Darling Harbour. We kept curtains and blinds open to see city lights.

Cons:

My bed was a little to firm but I have a bad hip so I struggle to get comfy. Second night was better.

The bed was very comfortable. The concierge and lobby staff are very nice - especially the baggage/valet staff. The gym is very good.

Cons:

We stayed for three nights while attending a conference. We arrived on Sunday and, despite using the fast-track check-in through the app, waited around 30 minutes in a very busy lobby before being checked in. Once we reached our room, however, we were very impressed – it was a fabulous room on the 24th floor with great views.

Unfortunately, our second night was disrupted by an extremely loud air-conditioning issue in the corridor. It sounded like howling wind, and when the room door was closed there was a constant high-pitched whistling coming through the door seal because the corridor was so windy. We contacted reception and were advised there were no engineers on site. We were offered earplugs or the option to change rooms, so we chose to move. The security staff member who escorted us mentioned this was a recurring issue with the corridor air conditioning and that the easiest solution was often to place a wet towel under the door to stop the noise.

The room move itself was frustrating. It took around an hour for someone to come and assist with our luggage. We had also requested memory foam pillows in the new room, but they didn't arrive for another 75 minutes. When they finally did, they had no pillowcases and were visibly stained with sweat. When we asked for pillowcases, we were told none could be found and that the pillowcases from our existing pillows could simply be swapped over.

During this time we called reception to follow up on both the luggage and the pillows. Unfortunately, the night receptionist, Carlo, was not particularly accommodating and came across as quite rude, which only added to an already frustrating experience.

The following day we requested our room be serviced after our second night. Despite being out for most of the day, we waited approximately 6–7 hours before the room was finally made up.

Breakfast each morning was also disappointing.

Rooms were great
Pros:

The rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. Great pillows. Staff were welcoming and friendly

Cons:

The lobby was really busy. Difficult to find a table. Too few bar staff to cope with the ordering as customers have to go to the bar to order. Very disappointing that the Champagne bar was closed. If I had known I would have booked elsewhere as that venue is beautiful with wonderful service and delicious food. The food served in the lobby was ordinary. Again was very disappointed that the champagne Bar was closed. An international hotel in Darlington harbour on a Sunday 🤷🏻‍♀️
