Great Canal hotel
Pros:

I wanted something on a canal at a reasonable price, this fitted perfectly, maybe I got it cheaper because the canal footpaths were being finished and beautified this last week, top location, short walk to the river ferry,lots of local eateries as well as in-house, a nice swimming pool at the bar restaurant and breakfast setting area overlooking a canal, very pleasant. Local life all around.

Only the footpaths but they are nearly fixed otherwise terrific.

La proximité des quartiers du Bangkok pittoresque, accessible à pied en 10mn, le bateau a 20mn (plus loin pour le métro mais reste gerable), et la piscine en fin de journée

Fijn verblijf in Bangkok.
Pros:

Goede locatie, lekker zwembad, prima kamers. Ontbijt was ok en het restaurant had wel een paar goede opties qua eten. Wij hebben hier als gezin gelogeerd en het zwembad was echt heel fijn om te hebben. Locatie was ook echt perfect, op loop afstand van Khao San Road. Personeel was attent en behulpzaam. Goede tips ook voor de stad.

We kregen zonder gedoe ons geld terug.

Cons:

Het hotel was moeilijk te bereiken omdat de straat opengebroken was. Na ploeteren met de koffers over de stukken puin kwamen we bij het hotel. We hadden een kamer op de bovenste verdieping, deels lift. Ondertussen waren er gasten die geen stroom hadden op de kamers die kwamen klagen. Aangekomen in onze kamer was het een sauna, de airco deed het niet goed. In de badkamer zagen we een kakkerlak. We zijn gelijk omgekeerd en vertrokken. We kunnen dus geen oordeel geven over ontbijt etc.

it has a pool and has a more traditional Thai feel and it’s quite good value

Cons:

it’s getting a bit tired and unfortunately they were doing a lot of work on the path right outside the hotel but this will be finished soon and will probably improve the access so probably a benefit
