Fantastic stay at Cassia ticking items off my bucket list.
Pros:

The staff were so friendly and made you feel very special. It was right on a stunning beach. The rooms were large, with kitchen area, lounge and separate bedroom. Couldn't fault it. There was a program for turtle conservation. We got to watch the turtles being released into the sea and also the unhatching of a nest. Truly magical moments that will stay with me forever.

Cons:

The only thing that could be improved was some entertainment in the evening.

Lovely relaxing beach resort with rooms backing onto the beach.
Pros:

Friendly staff, amazing location just on beach. There were great free and paid activities you could do including zumba, nature walks and spa treatments. We loved the restaurant options, standouts were the Xana BBQ ( held sat night only ), breakfast buffet, the Cove and Saffron. The reason why sometimes the meals weren't as we expected is the food is 90 percent locally sourced ( eg from nearby village ) and in house made. Eg the clams pasta had two clams as the fisherman could only obtain that many that day and the drinkable coconuts ran out one night as they only picked a certain number. Also we found the meat leaner and less juicy than in Australia, but that's probably what a free range non hormone animal should probably taste like!

Cons:

One of the bedroom doors was defective, and could only open from outside, but luckily each room had an external door also. I reported this at end of my visit.

Unscrupulous Bintan Cruise Ferry
Pros:

Friendly second home

Cons:

Poor communication on our arrival ,private car never turn up and Bintan Ferry recommend by hotel refuse to refund $178 despite commit to pay back on 13th May

Location, professional staff, good customer service. Amazing rooms.

Cons:

The food was 3 out of 10. This is really the big problem. It really had an effect on the overall experience. Cold, slow, and careless. A bit better in the main dinner, but completely awful in Xana.

I'm not an expert, but It was evident a lot of the food was frozen from before.

Waiters in Xana, borderline saboteurs.

Increíble!!!
Pros:

Una experiencia increíble!!! El hotel es hermoso, las habitaciones enormes y con espacio de cocina! Sin embargo, lo que hace al hotel excepcional es su personal. Particularmente, quiero agradecer a Jonson, Yance, Amirah , Witak (creo que se escribe así!) Sella y Jenius quienes nos ayudaron desde el primer momento!! Nos vamos con muchas ganas de volver!!!
