Clean and quiet stay.
Pros:

We booked the townhome across the road from the main hotel. Flat 2 was very spacious, clean, well equipped. The room exceeded our expectations. The room was quiet, bed was comfortable and the water pressure and temp were great.

Nothing.

Property was tired. Toilets in public areas were in need of an upgrade Staff in Restaurant were less than efficient at taking orders and clearing tables.

A warmly welcoming hotel in an ideal central location.
Pros:

We loved the central location, so we could walk from the doorstep to the shops and to the riverside. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day very nicely! The bar area was welcoming. It was lively in the evening and relaxing during the day. The staff were friendly too.

Pros:

The room was very cute. Loved the wallpaper! It was overall pretty quiet.

Cons:

The mattress wasn't great in one of our beds. I felt the springs the whole night. It was super full in the town for the Enchanted Forest and it was extremely hard to find parking all around the town.

Bit disappointing at times
Pros:

Location was good. Room in the townhouse was lovely. But a mirror in bedroom would have been helpful for drying hair. Bathroom could have done with mirror on wall near sink for shaving.

Cons:

Breakfast was warm at best. Coffee machine seemed to be a bit of a mystery for a few of us. Asked member of staff they didn't know how it worked. Evening meal was booked for 17.45 we had table until 19.15. Only ordered main course it arrived at 18.40. Food when it arrived was lovely but eaten in a bit of a rush as bus was leaving at 19.30 for Faskally Enchanted Forest Show.

Pleasant but could have been better
Pros:

Breakfast was enjoyabke

Cons:

The room to the front was very noisy. It lacks homeliness. Could have benefited from a table between the chairs and some art on the walks. Also we asked downstairs in the townhouse for some more milk and tea and was greeted with a shake of the head and told to go over to reception. There was no-one there and when asking a barman was told housekeeping deals with it. No housekeeping available
