Added cost of parking and unhelpful service.
Pros:

Staff were initially welcoming despite mg late emergency booking g but they filled to check me in properly and I was subsequently fined for parking in there own car park

Cons:

Despite owning their own parking i was fi ed for using it. In a village with very limited parking what should be an asset was simply a money maker for the hotel . Was informed that they would sort the issue by staff was eventually ignored after being told they couldn't do anything g about it It added about 40% cost to my stay and I could have stayed somewhere better for that price.

We had our own space and separate bedrooms which gave us more personal space

Cons:

We found we didn’t get hot water from the bathroom sink.

The window in hotel room

Cons:

Uncomfortable pillows, noise was terrible on a Friday evening loud music on till 12pm, the room was recommended from friends but they stayed mid week, breakfast was ok.

Pros:

Nice enough, though very basic

Cons:

The rooms were very hot - could use at least a strong fan. The furnishings were quite out of date too so could use an overhaul. Getting heavy luggage to the room from the car park was a bit of an undertaking

Great value for the money
Pros:

We stayed at the townhouse just across from the chippy/restaurant. Great value for the money, spacious and clean rooms. Restaurant staff friendly and (bar) food was good.

Cons:

Loud neighbours can be a problem as the walls don't block noise well.

We liked the location and the breakfast was nice .

Cons:

We didn't like our room, it was tiny and the tv was the smallest ive seen! We were not happy and didn't want to stay in that room .we ended up getting offered the Apartment across the road which was lovely, however we had to pay another £50 .

L'emplacement au centre de Stirling, la gentillesse du personnel au bar, la qualité de la literie, la propreté de la chambre.

Cons:

La dame à la réception pourrait être plus agréable et le parking est très petit ce qui impose de se stationner en rue.

God beliggenhed og fint hotel. Standarden på værelset var også god, men det var et meget lille værelse vi fik. Ingen plads til bagage/kufferter. Morgenmad var OK, dag 2 var æggen dog helt grå og så ikke særlig appetitlig.

Meget lille værelse, ingen rengøring efter dag 1, og uappetitlig røræg på dag 2.

Emplacement central, personnel aimable, petit déjeuner correct

Cons:

Chambre minable, ne correspondait absolument pas à ce que nous avions réservé ; une chambre de bonne minuscule sous les toits après un labyrinthe de couloirs, au 2eme étage sans ascenseur évidemment ; lampes de chevets qui ne fonctionnaient pas, pas de prises à côté du lit pour charger les téléphones… le réceptionniste en a convenu et a fini par nous en donner une un peu meilleure. Très déçue car nous avions payé plus de 180 € pour ça !

Fantastic location excellent facilities very helpful and friendly staff

Our stay at McKay hotel was exceptional the standard of the hotel was brilliant clean comfortable staff were so friendly and helpful the breakfast was off very high standard we have stayed before and we will definitely stay again absolutely a great hotel and location.
