Reception is open from 15:00 (13:30 on Saturdays) until 21:00. Nothing. It is not a hotel. It looks like an abandoned house. No reception or lounge. Check in is far away in another hotel. Looks like a rundown house.
Everything. Run down property that is not a hotel, more like a hostel. No reception area or Lounge. No entrance.
De locatie
Geen mogelijkheid om buiten te zitten
Het hotel was prima van binnen, maar wel nogal vervallen aan de buitenkant. Daar wij begrepen hebben, zijn er nieuwbouwplannen voor het hotel, dus misschien had het daarmee te maken? Het Engels ontbijt was goed, maar het continentale ontbijt was echter nogal pover. Kamer was ook in orde. Wel heerlijk dat je gelijk je auto kunt parkeren, ook al waren we veel te vroeg om in te kunnen checken.
Continentaal ontbijt. Het hotel ligt ook aan een drukke weg, maar wij hadden gelukkig wel een kamer aan de achterzijde waardoor het 's nachts toch wel stil was. Het is zeker 25 minuten lopen door het park naar het centrum. Voor ons prima te doen, maar het centrum is dus zeker niet dichtbij.
Staff were very pleasant when onsite and the food was decent. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful.
No manned reception for arrivals or checkouts. The room was in need of renovation, the window frames cracked and mouldy, mould also in the shower and the carpets were aged. Very dated decor.

The breakfast wast very good, excellent choices and all cooked to perfection.
Bed was comfortable, with lovely clean bedding and towels were lovely and soft
Car park was a very good size.
Walking distance to the centre was 15/20 mins, sk hotel in an ideal position.
Bathroom and bedroom needs an overhaul.
Shower door did not close properly, so we had to use extra towels to mop the water up from the floor.
Paintwork around windows etc very bad.
Your staffs were professional in their conduct all through.
Even when I checked out, I was allowed to stayed at the reception for two hours waiting for my train time to get to the train station
I was told to wait until 3:00 pm even though the room is believe is unoccupied

The breakfast is well presented and the breakfast room offers a pleasant environment. The location is excellent for visitors like me who arrive by car and have multiple work-related errands to do in various parts of the City. The location is equally excellent for people like me who arrive by car and wish to do sightseeing in between work assignments. I especially like the variety of eateries and pubs in the vicinity of the Ashley Hotel. In addition, I look forward each morning to walking / jogging along the towpath of the River Cam, which is just a two-minute walk from the Hotel.
On some dates during the summer, the rooms appear a bit expensive (London prices)

Établissement bien situé, à 20 min du centre à pied, calme, personnel du petit-déjeuner sympathique, petit-déjeuner correct.
Parking suffisamment grand, dans lequel on peut laisser sa voiture avant le check-in.
Pas de réception, il faut se rendre dans un autre hôtel à 800m de là pour récupérer sa clé. Heureusement ils on accepter de nous la donner le matin, ce qui nous a permis de faire nos visites toute la journée sans avoir à revenir à 15h (à condition de ne pas aller dans la chambre avant 15h)
