Location near Ueno Station wasn’t too far. Comfy bed, helpful staff.
Elevators were often very slow
Helpful staff, shower had very good water pressure.
The room was quite humid, and I couldn't find a way to reduce the humidity. The neighborhood was also not the best for tourism. It is fine if you need to be in Ueno, but I wouldn't stay in this neighborhood next time.
The location is prime. Accessible to not only Ameyoko but the subway system connecting all other stations.
The front desk staff are efficient helpful and friendly. It’s the little surprises that make things memorable. Example, on one rainy day they offered the use of umbrellas. How thoughtful.
Even the Housekeeping staff are courteous and caring.
There were no negatives. The staff always attempt to accommodate your needs and tries to answer questions sincerely.

Airco, comfy bed, good location, very good shower
Long queues when you have to wash your clothes. Small room for 2 suitcases.
the bed and walls had stains. the air conditioner didnt work and if it did a very fishy smell came out. the bathroom also had a fecal smell. since the windows cant be opened it got really hot. i didnt stay and immediately looked for a different hotel.
The location
The breakfast and some of the staff. There were 3 set menus for breakfast. They don't change it, its small and not filling at all. So if you're staying for 3 days you have to eat the same thing over amd over. There'sso much variationin cooking eggs but they'reso unimaginative.I don't know how much I paid for the breakfast. Even $ 5 is too much. It was pathetic. One day my friend and I came down at 9:40 they packed our food in containers and told us we can't eat in the breakfast room. Breakfast was 7 - 10 am
