Perfect location for a 4 night stay, conveniently located within the UNESCO heritage area.
Pros:

The Hotel is a beautifully renovated group of colonial buildings and exuded charm & warmth. Full of character. The room was spacious and well appointed. Daily breakfast was substantial and our greeting was always met with a smile. A special mention of Yahfiz. Truly delightful. The daily afternoon tea was an unexpected treat.

Pros:

Everything was great. Staff at reception were so helpful and all the staff were lovely.
Breakfast was great value and complementary afternoon tea was very nice.
Great location , hot showers , excellent rooms. Such good value for money. Absolutely recommend to anyone who wants great value.

We only stayed for one night.
Pros:

Rooms were very clean.

Cons:

Room is small. There are vent blocks at the top of the room that lets light from outside into the room. Sound proofing is also not great.

Welcoming and beautiful hotel.
Pros:

Old colonial style propert well maintained. Beautiful place, welcome and helpful staff. Not too big or small, tea in afternoon was a real treat. Only 7 minutes from night food market - look for the Michelin star stall!

The hotel is comfortable and enjoyable. It’s quiet and relaxing and yet close to a lot of amenities.
Pros:

The uniqueness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.

Cons:

A lot of shops and eateries around the hotel, but crossing the road is quite challenging. Anyway, that’s the case for all the roads in Penang.
