Hôtel charmant
Pros:

La situation, l’accueil et le service du personnel, le cadre typique et soigné de l’hôtel font d’Areca un étape de charme.

Cons:

Une mosquée est à proximité, il faut donc avoir conscience qu il y a l appel à la prière des 6h.

Soggiorno molto piacevole
Lo staff è stato davvero pronto e disponibile per ogni esigenza. La camera era confortevole e tutto al suo interno era perfettamente funzionante. La posizione è leggermente decentrata, ma George Town è un po' tutta così, quindi ci si sposta comunque facilmente. Struttura consigliata!

Pros:

Perfect location on a quiet street near bustling part of georgetown. Staff were friendly and professional. Lift available even if it wasnt the fastest. Rooms were comfortable. Just didnt understand why herotage rooms are huge gigantic.

Cons:

Door lock didn't work for my first room and i got changed to another room for my second night but there wasn't hot water. Not an issue since weather is hot now. Regardless, hotel offers great value and i would stay here all over again. Soundproofing seemed ok until I realised who is staying upstairs has a great impact. I could hear a lot of thumping sound when in another room. Not sure if someone was playing catch or kids were bouncing off floors.

Wir würden jederzeit erneut dort absteigen.
Pros:

Sehr schön im Kolonialstil eingerichtetes Hotel. Das Familienzimmer glich eher einer Suite und war gemessen an der Lage mitten in der Altstadt günstig und auch nicht laut. Kleines, stilvolles Extra ist der 3 Uhr Tee (kostenlos mit Gebäck).

Pros:

Excellent Heritage hotel in an excellent location. Free afteenoon tea daily was very good. Lots of very nice relaxing areas in the hotel. Overall a 5* experience.

Pros:

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Areca. The property is gorgeous and rooms equally lovely and comfortable. Rooms cleaned daily - thank you. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Hotel in excellent location - walking distance to loads of the sights and places to eat.
