We stayed at Palmin Hotel as a family, and unfortunately we did not enjoy our holiday at all. It was a very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the money we paid.

The only positive thing about the location is that the hotel is close to Ladies Beach, and you can easily reach Kusadasi city centre by taxi for around €5.

The food was very repetitive, with almost the same dishes every day. It was also quite tasteless, so we ended up eating in the city centre most of the time. The drinks were also poor quality and lacked flavour. Although the hotel advertises itself as an all-inclusive resort, it really feels like costs have been cut on almost everything.

One of the few highlights was the game centre. The lady and the gentleman working there were both incredibly kind to our children. They gave them small gifts, which made them very happy, and they were always friendly and welcoming.

The hotel itself is extremely old and poorly maintained. Our room was not cleaned properly, hygiene standards were poor, and housekeeping did not come as often as we expected.

Unfortunately, we were also disappointed with the entertainment team. Most of the animation staff were very young, lacked professionalism, and the activities felt disorganised and amateurish. Deniz from the entertainment team repeatedly pressured us to leave a positive review and specifically mention his name. We also heard him asking other guests to do the same. This made us feel very uncomfortable and is not professional behaviour.

The kids' club was another major disappointment. Yasemin, who worked there, often wore very revealing clothing around the children. And showed her breasts to the children In our opinion, this was not appropriate for a family-oriented hotel.

The reception staff were also very disappointing. They rarely smiled, always looked unhappy, and never made us feel welcome. Whenever we needed assistance, they were not helpful, and overall the hotel seemed to suffer from poor management and a lack of professionalism.

Another thing that surprised us was the check-out policy. In many hotels, even after checking out of the room, guests are still allowed to use the facilities until their transfer or departure. At Palmin Hotel, not only did we have to leave our room at 12:00, but we were also asked to leave the hotel completely at that time, which we found very unreasonable.

Overall, we would never choose this hotel again and would not recommend it to families looking for a relaxing holiday. Don't be tempted by the lower price. It is worth paying a little extra for a hotel that offers better food, cleaner rooms, more professional staff, and a much more enjoyable holiday experience.

Amazing hotel to stay in. Food is great and staff are brilliant especially with the kids and pool games. Denis was great with our family, is always so kind and welcoming. Will definitely be back 😁

This place sucks!! Please don’t go here. Right when we entered our family room, the 2nd room’s (we have 2 connecting rooms) AC was BROKEN! Their pool was nice, but come dinner, all the windows in the restaurant were open and the AC was off. We were burning. We alerted the hotel staff and they blamed it on the guests for opening the window, which we know for sure that the hotel scammed us by closing all the windows THEMSELVES and then turning off the ac to “save money.” Please don’t ever go here if you are an easy sweater/don’t like heat. This place doesn’t deserve your money.

The hotel is very good. The entertainment is very good for both adults and small children very good staff deniz has been so good to us for that past to weeks. Palmin are so lucky to have him part of their team. We are going to miss him so much when we go tomorrow really hope he’ll be back next year.

We really liked the hotel; the pool was clean and spacious—a perfect family hotel. The staff were friendly and hardworking, the food was delicious, and the rooms were wonderful and clean. Overall, we were very satisfied. Our holiday was made even more fun thanks to the entertainment team; the morning activities and evening shows were fantastic. We would especially like to thank Deniz, who took such great care of us; we will miss her dearly and hope to see her again when we return next year. We also really appreciated the game room—having billiards and games for young children was a great feature. That is why we loved the hotel so much. Finally, a special thank you to Ms. Yurdanur.

Deniz the entertainer is the best he is so friendly and helpfull. He couldn’t do enough for our family for the past two weeks we are really going to miss him when we go. I hope he will be back here next year when we come .finally I would like to thank yiğit and yurdanur at the game room for their help and warm welcome our children have a great time there.

Really enjoyable stay here, spent 7 days in July, rooms were in top condition, pool area is huge with plenty of space and entertainment through fun games such as water polo and darts which are enhanced by staff such as deniz that make you feel comfortable and allow the games to be fun and enjoyable for everyone of all ages

Unreal hotel , they really struck a gem finding deniz ! He is amazing at what he does and so interactive with guests

On arrival, we were greeted by the bellhop who assisted us with our luggage and was extremely friendly. I forgot his name, but he was a 16-year-old boy with glasses.

Yaren at reception greeted us with a smile and provided us with all the information for our stay. She was fantastic and always had time for us if we had any questions.

Our room was on the second floor facing the pool, which had lots of space and a spacious balcony to relax. The room was squeaky clean and there’s lots of storage for your clothes and suitcases so it does not take up any floor space in the room. The mini bar was well stocked with ice cold water.

The food – you have an immense selection of vegetarian and meat items along with soup, salads, and some of the most delicious desserts I’ve ever had. I basically ate like a carnivore for the week on chicken, turkey and steaks. Despite how busy the staff were, you never went without a drink or the empty plates being cleaned off of your table. I have to say they are the most polite and hard-working team I have ever seen. They definitely set the standard for customer service.

A big shout out to the manager whose name I wish I remembered along with Mustafa, Ruzgar Dogan, and the nice lady during breakfast, who brought me a pastry with a candle in it and some happy birthday to me on the breakfast shift.

The bar near the pool does get extremely busy but again, the staff work extremely hard to get you served and it’s always with a smile. There is a great selection of cocktails and soft drinks that are included.

At lunchtime, you can either eat in the restaurant between 1230 and 230 or you can have outdoor dining between 230 and 430.

There was plenty of room in the pool, despite the hotel being nearly fully occupied, and there was no problem to get a sun bed in the morning

TIP - Do not be one of these people that wakes up at 5 or 6 AM to reserve a sunbed, it is clearly posted that reserving your sunbed in advance is not allowed so have at least one member of your family stay with the sunbed until the rest of you are ready to come down.

The activities were fantastic. I’m over 50 years old and played water polo and it was great fun even though I paid for it the next day.

Other daytime activities include water volleyball, darts, Zumba, yoga, and other little activities for the kids.

Zeliha , who wad a member of the entertainment team, always had time to talk to us, and it was great hearing her stories and getting to know her.

Soner, the general manager of the hotel, saved us from being stranded after our return transport to the airport did not arrive. He ordered us a alternative taxi and within 15 minutes we were off.

Overall, we had the best family vacation ever! I cannot wait to come back next year for my next birthday

I visited this hotel two months ago. I’m a 20-year-old from the UK, so I thought I’d leave an honest review for anyone around my age (or anyone else!) who’s thinking of staying here. I’ll break it down into the pros and cons.

PROS-

The biggest highlight for me was definitely the staff. Every single member of staff I met was friendly, welcoming and always had a smile on their face. I didn’t come across anyone who was rude during my stay. They all work long hours with very little pay and always have a smile! The entertainment team was so lovely but can occasionally be a little persistent when encouraging guests to join in with games and activities, but they’re never rude.

The food was another positive. I’m a very fussy eater, so eating abroad can sometimes be difficult for me. I really appreciated the snack bar, which is open from 2:00 pm until 4:30 pm every day. They serve things like chicken nuggets, pizza, burgers, sandwiches etc, so there are plenty of familiar options if you’re not very adventurous with food. If you enjoy trying different cuisines, the main restaurant also offers a wide variety of dishes at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
TIP‼️-One tip I’d give is to arrive at the snack bar around 10 minutes before it opens if you can. It can get very busy, and on one occasion I waited nearly an hour for my food. This wasn’t the staff’s fault—they were working really hard and it was simply because it was so busy.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and overall I thought the hotel itself was well maintained and looked lovely.

CONS-

The only real downside for me was the noise in the evenings.

The hotel provides entertainment every night, which is great. There’s usually a children’s show from around 9:00 pm until 9:30 pm, followed by something different each evening, such as karaoke, bingo or live performances. The entertainment itself was enjoyable, but it is very loud and can easily be heard from the rooms.

Most nights, everything finished at around 11:30 pm, which personally didn’t bother me too much as a 20-year-old because I don’t usually go to bed particularly early. However, families with young children or lighter sleepers may find it more difficult.

We also had two nights where other guests were being very loud outside and in the corridors until around 2:00 am. Obviously, this isn’t really the hotel’s fault, but it’s something worth being aware of. If I visited again, I’d probably request a room on the opposite side of the hotel in the hope that it would be a little quieter.

Overall

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The friendly staff, good food, lovely cocktails and comfortable rooms made for a great holiday. The nighttime noise was the only thing that stopped me giving it five stars.

I’d personally rate it 4.5/5!

great hotel food was delicious every single night and the entertainment team is great doing a number of activities every day to keep everyone happy and the entertainment at night is amazing unlike any hotel my family have stayed at previously. we will definitely be back
