Important information:

In order to stay at YOTELAIR Schiphol Amsterdam, you need:
- your YOTEL booking confirmation
- proof of an outgoing flight within the next 24 hours
- your passport or ID card.

YOTEL is located inside the secure transit area at Schiphol Airport behind passport control. You will find the hotel in the Lounge 2 area (top level).

Arriving from an inbound flight:
- Follow the signs to Lounge 2 (D-gates)
- At the IWC Schaffhausen, take the escalator up to the 1st floor and YOTEL is on your left hand side.

Arriving from land side before 21:00:
- Go to Departures 2
- go through the Security & Passport Control,
- turn right and YOTEL is located on your right hand side.

Arriving from land side after 21:00:
- Go to Departures 3
- Go through the Security & Passport Control
- Follow the signs to Lounge 2 (D-gates), all gates on the Airport are reachable from the hotel except gate M
- At the GUCCI shop, take the escalator up to the 1st floor and you will find YOTEL on your left hand side opposite the Sushi & Noodles Bar.

Please note that it is not possible to bring large items of luggage to the hotel, but your airline may allow you to check in large items prior to your flight. You can also store them in the baggage lockers located before passport control. To locate your baggage, go to Arrivals Hall 1 and follow the signs to the Baggage Storage.

Please note that YOTEL does not accept cash payments. Only credit cards and debit card. It is possible to prepay your reservation before arrival.

Please note that this property has a strict no-smoking policy. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a EUR 250 fee.

Als het echt niet anders kan, kan je in dit hotel op Schiphol redelijk een nachtje slapen.
Pros:

Het feit dat er 1 dag van te voren nog plek was en het redelijk schone sanitair.

Cons:

De televisie deed het niet en hing half los. De telefoon deed het niet. Het bed was niet schoon, de knoppen van de lampen waren moeilijk te vinden. De kamers zijn via 2 of 3 treden te bereiken, beslist niet voor rolstoelen en zelfs lastig voor mensen die op krukken lopen.

Habitación inadecuada y difícil de encontrar

La ubicación es práctica si necesitas dormir dentro del aeropuerto.

Cons:

Reservamos una habitación para dos adultos y una niña de 12 años, pero solo nos asignaron una cabina con una cama doble, claramente insuficiente para tres personas. Además, el hotel es difícil de localizar dentro del aeropuerto debido a la escasa señalización. La habitación era muy oscura, por lo que ni siquiera resultaba fácil comprobar su estado de limpieza.

Arrived at a dark room with no instructions as to where to find the light switch - has to go back to reception to navigate into the room - the corridors and general ambience is dark and dingy.

Praktisch mitten im Transferbereich von Schiphol. Matratze sehr bequem.

Cons:

Diese kleine Schachtel ohne Fenster war schon gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber für eine Nacht ok. Der Preis ist allerdings eine absolute Unverschämtheit. Da wird die Notlage von Transitreisenden, die am Flughafen eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit brauchen, schamlos ausgenützt!
