In order to stay at YOTELAIR Schiphol Amsterdam, you need:
- your YOTEL booking confirmation
- proof of an outgoing flight within the next 24 hours
- your passport or ID card.
YOTEL is located inside the secure transit area at Schiphol Airport behind passport control. You will find the hotel in the Lounge 2 area (top level).
Arriving from an inbound flight:
- Follow the signs to Lounge 2 (D-gates)
- At the IWC Schaffhausen, take the escalator up to the 1st floor and YOTEL is on your left hand side.
Arriving from land side before 21:00:
- Go to Departures 2
- go through the Security & Passport Control,
- turn right and YOTEL is located on your right hand side.
Arriving from land side after 21:00:
- Go to Departures 3
- Go through the Security & Passport Control
- Follow the signs to Lounge 2 (D-gates), all gates on the Airport are reachable from the hotel except gate M
- At the GUCCI shop, take the escalator up to the 1st floor and you will find YOTEL on your left hand side opposite the Sushi & Noodles Bar.
Please note that it is not possible to bring large items of luggage to the hotel, but your airline may allow you to check in large items prior to your flight. You can also store them in the baggage lockers located before passport control. To locate your baggage, go to Arrivals Hall 1 and follow the signs to the Baggage Storage.
Please note that YOTEL does not accept cash payments. Only credit cards and debit card. It is possible to prepay your reservation before arrival.
Please note that this property has a strict no-smoking policy. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a EUR 250 fee.

De routebeschrikving om bij de hotel te komen
I had an overnight layover between connecting flights and needed somewhere to stay. The Yotel offered the perfect solution as it is accessible from within the terminal building, and it’s not necessary to pass through security or immigration to access it. The rooms are small and basic, but are comfortable and clean. It’s not the cheapest option around the airport, but it’s worth paying a little extra for the convenience.
My only gripe is that it didn’t seem to be possible to dim the brightness of the AC control panel next to the bed which lit up the room. I found this a little annoying as I like the room to be pitch black at night, but if that doesn’t bother you don’t let that put you off!

Simple. Had all the basics I required. Great concept.
It was extremely difficult to find. I asked 4 staff at the airport to assist and none of them really knew where it was. No windows.
Proximity to my departure gate. There is no hotel closer to the departure gates at Schiphol. You have to pass through security to access the hotel and so you are perfectly well positioned a few minutes from your gate, which is fab. It’s right next door to McDonalds too and a few other cafes which is handy for a quick bite before your flight.
You feel like a back packer in a tiny room (literally everything is in one small capsule - including the bed, shower and toilet!). The plumbing is quite noisy so you hear every flush from the other cells, which kept me awake. You have to exit by 7am.
I felt blessed to have a safe place to stay overnight at the airport. But the TV didn't work; I was unable to recharge my phone; and although there was hot water in the sink, I could get only cold water in the shower! Nearly €200 seemed a high price to pay for no amenities....
Whoops! I wrote all of this above: no hot water in the shower, only cold! No way to recharge my phone, TV wouldn't work...considering all of this, it was a high price to pay!

Przyjechaliśmy na lotnisko po godzinie 18 I nikt z lotniska nie mogl nam pomoc w dotarciu do hotelu, telefony nie dostepne, brak jakiejkolwoek mozliwosci kontaktu, nikt nic nie wie. Noc spedzona na podlodze w korytarzu. Nigdy wiecej.

Så utrolig verdt det! Vi hadde 5 timers ventetid midt på natten på flyplassen, og det å få sove ordentlig gjorde hele forskjellen. Sengene var kjempekomfortable, stedet var enkelt å finne, og innsjekken gikk veldig raskt og enkelt.

Difficoltà a trovare l'albergo nell'aeroporto. Nessun sapeva dove si trovasse. Non vi sono indicazioni da nessuna parte.
Unico dato positivo sarebbe stato di essere già in aeroporto al mattino per l'imbarco. Invece sono stato costretto ad uscire, percorrere centinaia di metri all'esterno e rientrare rifacendo i controlli già fatti la sera prima.
