Everything went well. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The view was magnificent and the grounds of the hotel were truly magnificent.
It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room

Excellent location, the balcony in front of the Old City is the key for this magic place. But also the many gardens arround the building are full of corners with well-cared-for plants and flowers, benches, chairs and tables in many "corners of calm" for reading, resting, meditating... I made a sketch of the landscape in watercolor.
I'm an coffe adict ( I'm sorry!) and nescafe is not coffe for my needs> black coffee is ok, esspreso better, but just small sachets with black coffee in the room will be superb: to drink a good coffee looking the landscape in the balcony will be great.

The hotel (owned by the Scottish church) is magnificent and resembles a castle. Driving up to the parking area (free!) you pass by lovely flowers and a well-groomed garden.
Our room was on the main floor, and so we had no issues with the hotel not having an elevator.
It was quiet, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated.
The vegetarian breakfast buffet was delicious. Many salads, tuna, avocado , shakshuka, scrambled eggs, fresh veggies, bread, rolls, cheeses, butter....carrot cake, halva, coffee, tea, juices....and more.
Tony from reception is a real gentleman and made us feel very comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay.
The positives clearly outweighed the negative...
The bed was a bit too firm for me. My husband was comfy.
The shower was without a shower curtain or a glass enclosure. My understanding is that only rooms on the ground floor are without.
Location is wonderful. Parking. History of very old tombs you must see.
Note two floors no elevator.
