Es hat dann schlussendlich alles geklappt und war gut.
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut.

Cons:

Es gibt keine einigermassen bezahlbare Parkings. Für 24h über 25 CHF zu bezahlen für ein Hotel ist schlicht zu viel.
Es gab keine Rezeption - nur online und leider nur English (kein Französisch, obwohl es in Vevey war, kein Deutsch)

Nous avons adorés Vevey la Suisse !!!
Pros:

Chambre super pour 2. Juste à 100 m. de la gare de train (en arrière de l'hôtel), donc on a pu laisser la voiture et prendre le train pour certaines activités. Près de tout à pieds.

Cons:

Prix du stationnement EXORBITANT (166 CHF donc 300$ CAN pour 4 jours !!!!) On a pas le choix de payer car on avait une voiture loué et on apprends cela à la suite de la confirmation de la réservation via un message automatisé ! Il faut être un peu techno pour le self check in et pour le stationnement (Code QR à scanner et procédure à faire) mais ensuite tout était OK.

The rooms were clean and quiet

Cons:

The check-in experience was really confusing; it was self check-in and we could not upload our documents and had to resize them; the whole experience took 30mn. Then in one of the apartments we rented, the door was broken, and had to reach out via email (there is no staff on site). Then the other apartment smelled of cigarette very bad and we had to change rooms. Fortunately the staff was reactive ia email.

A única coisa a apontar, não sendo algo negativo, mas sim apenas um gosto pessoal , seria as cortinas , pois são de tons claros, o que permite a entrada da luz natural logo pela madrugada, o que faz os mais sensíveis acordarem logo pelos primeiros raios solares, e impede um pouco mais de descanso.
Logo as janelas poderiam ter algo que pudéssemos fechar e manter o quarto com um ambiente próprio para descansar.

Very complex check in
Pros:

Rooms are recently renovated and bathrooms are nice and modern. Breakfast in an adjacent fancy cafe'.

Cons:

Very complex online check in procedure we discovered when arrived. Download an app, check in online, call multiple time a customer service number, send documents via email etc. That took 45 min of our time. We booked 2 rooms for our family and were given rooms on 1 and 3 floor with no attention to the fact that we were travelling as a family. AC did not function so room was extremely hot. Bed lining did not give sense of cleanness.

Lovely, totally modern and comfortable hotel with typically high Swiss standards for everything!
Pros:

Location: easy walking distance to lake, shops, cafes, train, etc. Views from upper floors: we expected a balcony because of the icon on the Booking.com page but there were none, however we were moved to a room with a terrace and partial view of the alps, which worked for us. Staff were very responsive and helpful, making the change very quickly. Everything in the room was top quality. Shared kitchen downstairs was huge with multiple cooking stations and absolutely spotless. Charming restaurant at the entrance to the hotel - not part of the hotel itself but it adds to the positive experience. (Sadly and unusually, it was closed for a day while we were there, for the ‘Feast of the Ascension’.) Riviera card provided by the hotel gives you free public transport, therefore you have easy access to Montreux, Chaplin’s World, etc.

Cons:

Disappointed that the restaurant downstairs was closed on our second day there but that’s not the Hotel’s fault. Next time we’ll check out dates of religious festivals! As for the hotel itself it’s one of the best we’ve stayed in so no complaints at all. Some people might be bothered by the train lines/station next door but it made no difference to us as the rooms were completely soundproofed.

Pros:

La propreté, la localisation ainsi que le rapport qualité prix

Cons:

L'absence de climatisation, très compliqué de refroidir la chambre avec les 30 degrés de ce week-end.
Le parking inaccessible, il y avait toujours 90% des places libres mais aucune réservation possible via le QR code à l'entrée, vraiment dommage.
Le point de deal également, ils ne font rien de mal aux passants mais ce n'est pas forcément l'idéal vu la présence de ceux-ci la nuit entière.
