The hotel is located 2 blocks from Plaza Bolivar, in 200years old impressive colonial-style building. Entering the hotel is taking you into another time, another (cool and chilling) place.
A delightful restaurant on one side, a cool bar and dining on the other side.
Locals coming here for lunch or having a drink after a long working day, always a good chance to come in contact with people, having good talks
The rooms? Well, mine was “loud” as it was oriented to the street, and nearby is the church and these church-bells saying good-morning very early. There is also the sound of the street, the working people, but hey - if you want a room at the heart of the city - who cares.
If you don’t want to feel the city's vibes, ask for a room in the back of the hotel.
The view from the room? Basílica del Señor de Monserrate oder Santuario de Monserrate, who needs more?
The room itself, the ceiling at maybe 6 meters over the bed, a nice selection of cushions and even an iron was there.
about the staff? never met more helpful and kind people. After I was robbed on the street, they lent me one of the hotel's laptops and even one of their cellphones. Special thanks to Jesus, and of course to all the others, too
For breakfast, one has the choice of seven different styles, all delicious you decide every morning.

La ubicación es excelente. Está en pleno centro. El personal de la recepción es muy amable.
Las toallas están en mal estado, ya están desgastadas incluso rotas. En la madrugada se oyen muy fuerte voces de la calle. Las ventanas no cierran bien por lo que entra el frío y el ruido. Se escapaba el agua de la ducha e inundaba el piso. NO recomiendo el restaurante. El desayuno no es para nada aconsejable. Primero, solo tenían como opción jugo de guayaba. En la carta el desayuno San Rafael ofrecía quesos semi maduros, solo pusieron un mini cubo de queso blanco. Es preferible buscar opciones fuera del hotel que lo hay de sobra.

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was decent, and the location was excellent, with many attractions nearby and easy access to explore Bogotá.
The price did not match the experience. This was the most expensive hotel of my road trip, so I arrived with high expectations, but the room felt small and lacked amenities I would expect at this price point. There was no TV in the room, which meant I couldn't watch the soccer World Cup match in private. I was told the hotel follows a "resting concept" and was offered a TV the next day, but the match was that evening, making the solution unhelpful. I believe guests should be able to decide how they want to relax.
The room also had no drinking water or mini fridge, the bed was small, and there were not enough electrical outlets for charging devices. Check-out at 11:00 a.m. felt unnecessarily rigid: the room key was deactivated exactly at 11:00, leaving me locked out while I was still collecting my belongings and requiring a trip to the front desk to reactivate it. Overall, I don't feel the amenities justify the premium price, and I expected a much better value for what I paid. Also they will make you fill out another checkin online version outside the booking platform and the have you do it all over againg a third time upon arrival.

Location is ideal close to everything. Staff, we're lovely so accommodating. Breakfast was unreal, so nice. Overall, it is great value for money.
The first room was too noisy and cold. We were moved to another room that was lovely. Didn't like the fact no TV in the room. This was rectified, and a TV was installed the next day. Beds aren't comfortable.
