Lage ist noch ausreichend zentral, Parken mit App oder im Parkhaus (nicht vom Hotel), Personal ist super freundlich, tolles Ambiente, sehr schönes Zimmer ohne Fenster (fehlt nicht), super gemütliches Bett, großartiges Restaurant zum Abend und leckeres Frühstück á-la-carte

Room was clean and beds comfortable, cafe was very good and convenient.

Cons:

The parking seemed quite shady, the public lot was behind the hotel and the hotel is right across from the bus station so a lot of people coming and going. I didn’t feel it was the safest of neighborhoods. Also the bathtub/shower is very deep and a huge step to get into and out of, very difficult for anyone that has mobility issues or is elderly. My mother had a very hard time.

Lovely - would come again!
Pros:

I liked the location, the style and the cleanliness. The bed was big and comfy also.

Cons:

There were no windows in the room aside from a velux one. That felt quite claustrophobic. There were no biscuits at the coffee station which is a simple nice touch to provide. There was also no ironing board.

Pros:

The Hyde is in a convenient location, walkable to the central area and around the corner to the bus station. The bed was comfy and staff friendly.
The room, however, was very noisy and ill appointed with no drawers, no hooks, and a blow dryer in a desk drawer that couldn't be moved and the no mirror near by to look at.

Le stanze sono molto piccole (noi avevamo una tripla ma al massimo lo spazio andava bene per una doppia). Armadio quasi inesistente se non per un piccolo pertugio ricavato nel muro , nessun cassetto e nessun posto per poter poggiare le valigie ,soffitto molto basso , bagno privo di scovolino per il wc. Brutta sorpresa per il primo giorno di colazione (pagata al pernottamento) che non prevedeva la colazione continentale ma rimediato il secondo giorno con delle paste dolci e una scelta più ampia.

Good vibes but food mediocre

Was in Galway for a hospital procedure and my taxi pulled up outside the Hyde Hotel and I decided to try this place out, the atmosphere is tranquil and the ambiance is so refreshing! It’s a shame I can’t say the same for the food, I ordered the Hyde Grill, it came out looking ok, but there was things on the plate that I didn’t want and the poach eggs could be used for golf balls they were rock hard with added extras also!
I asked for toast but got plain bread instead!
Service could have been better as I was waiting a long time for staff to come by to see if I needed anything!
The only good thing about the place was Hannah the server and the male bartender!

Just an average stay
Pros:

We stayed at the Hyde Hotel for two nights of our eight-day trip to Ireland. Candidly, it was our least favorite hotel on the trip. Good location that is close to all the pubs and restaurants, but not too close for late nightlife noise. Our king room turned out to be what the front desk staff referred to a "European" king--small with a double bed. Interesting that we had regular kind beds at our previous stops in Dublin and Killarney. Breakfasts were included and were mediocre at best. Both mornings, there were slow waits for service, especially getting coffee. Overall, an average experience . . . would stay elsewhere on a return visit to Galway.
