Quiet and beautiful location. Very kind staff, very good food
The property is beautifully maintained. The rooms are clean and there is plenty of hot water with good a great shower pressure. Breakfast was included which was simple yet hearty. The a la carte dinner menu was delicious! Staff was helpful and used whatsapp for ongoing communication. Overall would recommend staying here if you want a relaxing stay away from the city bustle.
It was about 20 minutes from Ollantaytambo but nothing that a taxi could not resolve
Lamas the property has on site, beautiful view, comfortable and clean room, hotel lends you bicycles for free
Despite the name of the hotel, it’s not located in Ollantaytambo, you will need to tale a taxi or a bus to get here (around 20 min)
Beautiful environment
This was a disappointing experience, we were looking forward to it very much but a lot of things were less than satisfactory for the amount of money charged for everything. A lot of extra.costs, expensive restaurant for not great food, you need to get their shuttle bus to get anywhere outside of the accommodation (& pay for it), it's quite a long way from the main town. It could be fantastic but is in a tired condition now and not well managed. We didn't have hot water at one point and on Saturday night there was an incredibly loud event nearby all night that didn't stop and we got no warning about it - apparently it happens quite a bit, it was still going very loudly at 4am and hadn't stopped all night. All the extra costs were double what the actual accommodation was. Wouldn't recommend compared to options in the main town area.
The hotel staff is attentive and treats the hotel guests very nicely. The hotel is impressive and very close to the snowy Veronica Mountain. There are free games including a snooker machine, bicycles and a yoga mat. Free tea. Excellent atmosphere. Highly recommended
The refrigerator was filled with food in the room reception.
The double beds are a bit narrow, the mattresses are comfortable.
This is a beautiful property in the Sacred Valley as we prepared for our hike in Machu Picchu. The bungalow was perfect for our family and we enjoyed the recreation room as we rested and acclimated. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed seeing the alpacas while we ate.
Most tours regarded this area as far out and we had to arrange for extra transport for pick up and drop off for our tours. However I didn’t think it was far from Ollantaytambo and it was only about 20 minutes driving. Just sharing my experience in regard to the tours. I would stay here again as I really enjoyed the property and it contributed to our enjoyment of our vacation and the area.
This place is absolutely incredible. I would stay here again. Audrey and Katherine were amazing. Audrey runs the place. I was with my husband and 2 children, 11 and 14. We had the 2 bedroom bungalow and it was beautiful with an outdoor hot tub overlooking the property and you could see snow caps on the mountains. The gentleman at the front desk ordered us taxis whenever we wanted to go into the town of Ollantaytambo. It only took a few minutes to get a taxi and to get to town and super affordable. The Alpacas on property are adorable. The hotel picked us up from the airport and that was a huge perk. Very small fee. Breakfast was great and dinner was great. All of the wines and cocktails were really great as well. I was between staying in the town or booking this 5 star place. I am so happy that I did NOT stay in town and stayed here. We loved the pool table and fire pit. Sightsee in the town, but get out to the serene countryside.
I loved everything about this place.
