Everything was good except that some of the accessories in the room is old and needs update.
Breakfast and happy hour was excellent and the staff was really helpful and friendly

Pros:

Breakfast was great! The lighting in the bathroom was wonderful. It was easy for me to apply my makeup. Most hotels have poor lighting for that.Also the pillows were the best!!!
Also the hotel was close proximity to the shops and downtown areas.

Cons:

I would have liked the coffee to be accessible longer in the morning.

Pros:

The hotel looks good from the online photos but the reality is bad. This hotel is shabby from the lobby to the room. Dirty common areas, chairs with fabric ripping, chipped and cracked surfaces on tables, walls, just everywhere is run down. Same in the rooms with stained furniture, old mini fridges that rock and move when you open the door, wobbly lamps. Could endlessly list the bad condition of pretty much everything.

The breakfast was good. Check-in employees friendly. I know keeping a hotel looking good and clean in a college town is harder than most jobs, but I expected more from Embassy Suites.

Cons:

Overall cleanliness of hotel, hallways, walls, etc. The room we stayed in had large marks on the walls, probably scrapes from suitcases. Tabletop was dirty in kitchenette. Chairs had dirty seats. Bathroom toilet was not clean on the front down to the floor: pee. I did some cleaning of my own to make the room clean for us.

Family stay
Pros:

This place was amazing! Friendly staff and loved the breakfast in the morning as well as the evening snacks. Also hiking was within 10 minute drive. Truly recommend this hotel!
