Fantastic tranquil hotel and spa - totally recommend
Pros:

This place is fantastic, in a tranquil backwater, had a great meal in the restaurant and drinks on the veranda, the staff were really helpful especially on the reception who accommodated our every whim and will definitely stay again

A grand European resort in a soulful rural setting
Pros:

We booked this expecting a slightly faded spa hotel a la "Hotel Budapest." Actually it seemed freshly remodeled and immaculate. The pool (included) and spa (extra) were both wonderful. Breakfast (included) and dinner (optional) both wonderful. The grounds are maintained like a grand estate with garens and double rows of plane trees. Though it's out of town, there is a pleasant walk to a nearby village on a dirt bike path along a river. Our room was comfortable with great views of the grounds. Given the reasonable cost, this felt like a grand resort.

Cons:

We dined elsewhere one night. Staff directed us to te pretty bad restaurant that's a long drive. There are better options in the village nearby, which they did not mention.
