Disappointing stay due to cleanliness issues, though the food, security, and location were good.

I will say the food was good, and the security and location were also positives.

Cons:

The property did not meet my expectations. My room was not properly cleaned and felt very unmaintained, I had to clean the room myself along with my mom’s help which was disappointing. .Also, in the dining area, you are expected to eat on a dirty tablecloth they need to change the table after each person finish with the table. Aunts all over the bed lizards poop on the windows and floor . I had to pull the bed away from the window so the aunts won’t go on the bed ,as they use the curtains that’s rest on the bed to go on the bed

Simple and basic accommodation that is clean and well maintained, in a great location.

Cons:

There were issues with our reservation (Booking.com) and the guy on front desk was only concerned with his technology. Also, we ordered take out that came with no fork or spoon, but the same fella couldn't (or wouldn't) help.

De vriendelijkheid was redelijk. Moesten lang wachten bij binnenkomst omdat de mevrouw aan de telefoon zat. Ze had ons even welkom kunnen heten en vragen om even te wachten vanwege haar lange gesprek. Maar zelfs een knikje of hallo met haar hand was er niet. Niet echt een fijn welkom.

I am pleased with the facilities & I was most impressed with the staff, they polite & courteous, very helpful & informative, I would definitely recommend “Shirley Retreat” to anybody, it was a great way to begin my holiday. I intend to return to “Shirley Retreat” in the future as a launch to other areas of Jamaica.

Cons:

I can’t honestly say that there was anything I didn’t like about the property, I was made to feel comfortable & welcomed.

Pros:

Location is perfect so many restaurants all attractions near by.
Staff is nice room also good. Ac is very strong which is a must in jamaican heated weather.
Private parking also available good.

Pros:

Absolutely loved it!! Price was good breakfast included! Staff was extra friendly, the rooms were very clean!! Check in was EASY and fast ..PRIME LOCATION

A peacefully relaxing stay in the busy city.
Pros:

The location is great. The staff were very calm and responsive (I requested extra linens and towels and got a whole set 😄). My partner loved the breakfast and she is very picky.

The Wi-Fi was a bit weak but it works.
