Beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet area of the city but close enough to everything. Loved the big windows in our room!

Our first stop of our European journey was great. We arrived from the airport into central station and literally walked down the street a few blocks. They provided us with a nice welcome cocktail of our choice since we booked directly. Our room was on the 1st floor facing the large canal and street below but it was quiet. It was great to have an elevator since we had large heavy suitcases. Breakfast was served as early as 7am and included a buffet as well as à la carte choices. They provided great recommendations and service, especially Thais.

Stayed at the Hendrick’s while visiting Amsterdam. We stayed in room #6, which was unique and fun. The staff was excellent, the hotel and rooms are well appointed and clean. The hotel is located close to the Central Station and within walking distance of many landmarks and points of interest. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Amsterdam.

Our second stay at the Hendricks Hotel. We were excited to be returning and our stay didn’t disappoint. This is an excellent hotel; clean and comfortable. The location is ideal- easy walking distance of the train station and the city centre, but sufficiently away from it all to allow a good night’s sleep.

All the staff we saw were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. If ever we return to Amsterdam, we will definitely ensure we book here again.

I have a lovely twin room, great shower, and a softish bed. The place is clean and lovely inside. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient.
It's not too far from Centraal Station, De Wallen, and Dutch Resistance/Holocaust Museums. Only stayed 1 night but would have happily stayed more.

The main selling point of this hotel is without doubt it's staff! They are all incredibly warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay.
The hotel is perfectly situated to walk from the train station, and our room had a lovely view over the water. The area the hotel is in, is quiet and peaceful, which we personally liked at the end of the days we had been surrounded by people and bikes. It is however quite a walk from the tourist areas, attractions, and restaurants, which we knew before booking, and were happy with as we don't mind a walk, but for some people getting an Uber to the main thoroughfare might be preferable. We did use Uber for a couple of trips, but it was a bit unreliable to start with, then Thays explained why, and she helped us resolve this issue quickly and easily. Thays was incredibly helpful, friendly, and informative.
We are both vegan, and there was nothing on the a La Carte breakfast menu we could order, but Kelly was amazing and she immediately spoke with the chef and each morning we then had delicious, cooked veggies made for us.
Renato was also wonderful, he gave us some great suggestions of places to visit, and we especially loved the bar he recommended.
Our only negative about our stay, was the design of the room we had chosen to book. We did not realise prior to booking, the toilet is separate to the shower and sink, with heavy, loud closing fire doors separating them. Had we known this was the design of this room, we would have chosen a different room, where the toilet, sink and shower were all together in one room. Other than this one issue, our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the views were lovely.
If we ever return to Amsterdam in the future, we will definitely stay at The Hendrick's Hotel again, and we would just book a different room.

Breakfast is amazing, one of the best I had in Europe.
Everything in the hotel smells amazing
The service is great
Location is good- very quiet but still located in the center.

Cons:
The bed wasn't that comfortable
If you care about it - there is no gym

Note that every room is different, this is a boutique hotel with only 25 rooms, so make sure you book what you want.
