This was a gem of a place , I can honestly say that they do not come much better than this .
The room was decorative and full of all the things you would need .

Air con over bed in bedroom 7 a bit noisy
Very friendly staff. We arrived late at night but they were very quick to answer any calls after hours, and made the check in very smooth. The hotel is a very nice old historic pub in the centre of Abingdon, the room was excellent, nicely decorated, spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious too.

One room had a tiny shower room and a spacious bedroom the other was the reverse massive bathroom tiny bedroom with no view out.

Luggage not taken to room two flights up, uninviting reception, hallways tired and needed painting….traffic noise from lorries.
Staff were very helpful and polite. Food was delicious, congrats to Chef Diogo. Our room was spotless and confy with beautiful decor.
