Booked an executive room
Very poor inside the room, problem with the blinds opening. Shower continuously dripping, bathroom very poor.
Only 1 towel provided
Pillows very lumpy and uncomfortable
Music playing very loudly directly below our window until midnight. Smokers directly below the window too
Hotel overall very tired, staff very unmotivated as probably realise the problems and know complaints can’t be sorted.
Overheard reception telling a customer that a previous guest had broken the TV, and unable to put them in another room, it’s probably an excuse that is used on a daily basis.

Good for the price
Pros:

Breakfast was a standard good breakfast. No scrambled eggs but that is purely preference.
Lovely meal the first night we got there, great price and freshly made at 8pm.
Extra kudos to the 2 gentleman working Friday 10th and the young lady working Saturday 11th AM for sorting our issues. Lovely and friendly.

Cons:

Checked into our room, no tv remote, no signal on TV. Popped downstairs to reception, fully booked and no spare tv remote. TV ariel had been stolen from the back of the TV. Luke warm bath and my partner went to shower and the shower head wouldn't sit and kept falling down. Mould around the bath and plug.
Saved my the helpful people mentioned above who moved our rooms the next night and complimentary drink while waiting. They are a credit to a hotel that needs some love put into it.

Loved the place, people place and location ace!

Cons:

The only downside of a beautiful place - Breakfast table cloth not clean and unfortunately sat next to a window with dead bugs/flys on the window sill, I know this can happen but such a shame given the room was fab
