The room was great for one adult and two kids. It felt like a little apartment.
Closeness to centre & venue we were attending
Reception area a little small, breakfast food lukewarm, drinks cold (had to ask for fresh drinks). Bar & restaurant staff seemed inexperienced
Surroundings, location, friendly staff,
The visit was spoiled by Brekky
Nice hotel, our stay included breakfast comprising of full English, cereal or continental, but the restaurant and bar were very cold. Hot food was plenty hot but ass soon as served on your cold plate in a cold restaurant, your food is lukewarm by the time you return to your table (or bar if you have a dog), and cold by the time you've finished eating. Even the customers were returning to their rooms for woollies !
Location
Room service: lovely pizza
Mattress not strong enough for 2 people
Very tasteless gin and tonic
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice
Everything was good.
The location and setting was beautiful. The food was very nice too. The room was large and had a gorgeous view!
Whilst the food was very good, the prices were a little steep: we were initially charged £17 for a 2-course child's meal (1.5year old!).
The restaurant staff were very friendly but inexperienced, and didn't appear to have much support!
Room was ok size and on site parking is good.
Breakfast was poor and the room we stayed in was a bit tired.
The staff. The location. The room. Breakfast on the first morning was cooked and served to us at the table.
Dinner (steak) on the second evening was god and amazing value.
Breakfast on the second morning was quite dismal. Frankly it just felt like a ‘convention’ hotel. Gardens which could be magnificent were neglected.
Good size bed and very spacious
Bit dated, bathroom could do with modernising
Ideal location for an overnight stay for us. Staff lovely and owned and run by the Fed of Trade Unions so we are supporting trade unions as well.
Stayed a few times in the past ... lovely comfortable and clean rooms .. good value for money
Nothing
Staff were pleasant, nice place to stay.
