Staff was okay when they was there , location was good
The room was untidy litter behind cupboards and bed , bed was uncomfortable due to being broke , broken plug sockets no privacy at all especially in the bathroom where the window is right near the toilet over looking houses behind who can see right in as not a frosted glass window with my 6 year old in the room as well who didn't get any sleep due to what sounded like all the other guests in the hotel banging all night kids running up and down the corridor till 2 o'clock in the morning, paper thin walls banging from every area jumping off beds , couldn't even watch tv as no aerial due to it being robbed previously so couldnt even put the tv on to mask out the noise , cleaner just went round with a can of air freshener just sprayed the room then that's it hotel smelt , trip hazard right outside our room big metal piece coming up from the floor where my 6 year old nearly fell on it.
The family room.was very spacious, clean and tidy.
Building work going on no access to the bar but it didn't stop us enjoying our time at the Stuart hotel.
Place needed a good overhaul. It was scruffy, room had holes in plaster, carpet threadbare in places, bedding had dirty marks in it, bed had a caster missing off it in the middle so looked as if the bed was going to collapse. Awful place to stay wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Nothing like the pictures on the website.

Nice friendly staff room could do with new carpet but overall vvery good alue for money & breakfast was excellent will definitely use again .
Ca rparking it could do with a disability parking bay outside the property rather than having to cross over the road to a parking area that we didnt know if we would be fined for parking there as lots of notices up saying private property.
The hotel was fine but alarms going off at 1am had to leave and would like a refund but they are not answering my calls really really poor customer service will never book again.
Customer service
Bathroom was nice and clean enough. Bedding was frssh and clean.
Room condition. No kettle in room as advertised. Terrible selection at breakfast (which is only 8am-9am and not as advertised). Staff (apart from 1 lad) were unprofessional and unhelpful and had no regard for quality of the stay. You can hear everything from surrounding and above rooms so don't expect a decent sleep. Bar was closed for the 2 nights/3 days i was there. No staff on reception. Housekeeping had been before i got there but didn't see them again. Photos do not represent the condition or services offered. Would never book this place again.
The location and breakfast
İt was noisy especially the sound from upper floor transfer easily.. no shampoo and TV not working well
The breakfast was very nice but staff disorganised as run out of serviettes and had to ask for cutlery. Bedroom fine and bathroom with walk in shower very nice. Parking space very useful
There is building work going on indoors in the lounge and bar making it a safety hazard. Fire alarm went off at 1 am on Tuesday and the owners did not know what to do.
Balcony outside space.
Booked to stay here two nights, the first night of our stay we were awakened by the 🚨Fire Alarm🚨 at 01:10 we were told at that point by guests in rooms adjacent that it was an alarm fault they were told. The alarm went off numerous times(Around 30) until it stopped around 03:30. No one told us anything(Staff), zero information passed if it was a fault or a real fire or just someone smoking in their room. I had to go down to find at 03:00 and was told it's fine to go to bed just a fault. In the meantime it is an exodus, people are packing their cars up & fleeing, those with young children and disabled in fear for their life. No word of a lie this is a 👹"HOTEL FROM HELL"👹. We had stayed here two years ago and it's very clear to see it has been taken over and not even ran to the standards of Faulty Towers, as at least that would be funny. This place is 😱 frightening 😱 my wife was not comfortable on our arrival there are people just loitering around reception. The rooms are tired, degraded, needing TLC, clean-ish cracks on walls wallpaper hanging off, were by no means snobs but there are minimum standard levels of living & this is close to the minimum. Never stayed for breakfast as we left at 09:30 checked out and booked another hotel nearby for a sleep. We were told we would be refunded by the manager for the night we did not use and he understood why we were leaving. Was told to contact Booking for a 💳refund. Booking says that the hotel will not respond now to their emails or calls. So out of pocket also U will never receive a refund from these people gave them three days no response still💰. If you value your money ,safety, sleep and mental health & infact your wellbeing 🚑AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!
Amazing staff very friendly and welcoming room with balcony was lovely would definitely stay again 😊
Parking available but resulted me in a new tyre but not there fault. Breakfast was ok with the price . Was not necessary to us.
The blinds did not fill the window. Obv a issue with the blinds and could have put up a curtain rail with curtain cheap enough. Was clean enough to stay when we checked in as we waited till 3.30 and room still was not ready so went on with our day. We checked in at night. WiFi intermittent. No one at rwception/bar room closed . Was not expected during school holidays .
Comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels. Yummy free breakfast buffet and all the staff were super helpful, friendly & very welcoming 👍
No toilet brush, toilet seat need tightening the bar was very poor and over priced. Slight problem with the fire alarm going off one night but soon sorted it!😬
Nothing! Overall, they are not professional trained to managed Airbnb.
We arrived, there was no soap, tissues, drinking water in the rooms, TV is old modern types, i was very sad and regreted my booking with them.
