Lovely extras. Packed lunch provided and complimentary drinks in fridge. Fresh milk in the fridge. Very helpful friendly staff.
Dogs not allowed in the main building so had to eat outside in a pod, which was actually quite a nice experience
The location was peaceful, the room was excellent, the food was stupendous, and the whole experience and customer service are great value for money.
Excellent location - easy to find off main road in quiet countryside village with lovely views and walks directly from village. Brilliant staff, great food, packed lunch really nice touch - dogs welcomed.
Have stayed in both main hotel and annex lodge. Room 5 was quite noisy as over the kitchen/dining area but all quiet after 11pm through the night. Not a big issue just an observation.
My wife is gluten free and from the start they ascertained it was my wife and from then on every waitress and server seemed to know and dishes were modified to suite a real personal service and excellent food.
Room a little hot during the heat wave I am sure if I had thought to ask for a fan it would have been supplied
Beautiful old property that has been updated for modern needs without losing its period features.
We ate in the restaurant twice in the evenings of our stay and for breakfast.
Each was exceptional and great value.
The staff are friendly efficient and knowledgeable about the local area and walks.

Historic building well maintained. Lots of charm and staff was good. Very hot water forshower. Little touches like milk in the fridge and a bag lunch were appreciated.
Food was pretty good. Room was small.
Vriendelijk personeel mooie omgeving
Oud engelse faciliteiten. Niks is recht rare technische oplossingen.
Great location and a lovely setting with very friendly staff. the hotel has great character and the grounds are lovely to walk around. The rooms are a bit dated but that is very inkeeping with the style of the property. there is a reseraunt in the hotel and the food/service is fantasitc.
The bed was not the most comfortable ive ever slept on and there was a few basic things missing from the room, there was no air con, no fan, no iron/ironing board and the tv didnt work.
Beautiful historic building in lovely farmland location. Super friendly welcome from receptionist. Complimentary Prosecco and beer in the room. Delicious real home cooked evening meal and breakfast. A 1st ever for us, being sent on our way with a picnic bag of sandwiches crisps chocolate fruit and a drink. So sweet. ALL the staff were lovely, welcoming and kind. Would absolutely stay again!!
The carpets need a deep clean, and some of the furniture needs updating. Tiny issues as the hotel is wonderful!
Good location good food good staff

Lovely hotel, lots of history
we liked everything
The staff were all so lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome. A charming property with comfortable furniture - it was like staying in a home rather than a hotel. Glasshouse / Greenhouse option for dining with dog. Lovely farm setting. The food was delicious.
Our pet-friendly bedroom in the separate cottage was slightly overheated with an expansion tank in the bathroom but easily adjusted by opening velux +windows.
