Good night overall
Pros:

I will say I was a tad discouraged when we pulled in and saw the outside of the building. But with that being said it was incredibly clean and the staff were all very nice and it was quiet. The location to Mount Rushmore is great

Wonderful Stay.
Pros:

We booked a room at Magnuson Grand for three nights after a terrible night at a different place. The woman at the front desk was wonderful! The room was spacious and cold, and although the hotel is dated, the room was very clean. The hotel is in central Keystone and we could easily walk to the restaurants in either direction. We could see Mount Rushmore from our front door. If we come back to the Black Hills, we will stay here again.

Cons:

The beds weren't the most comfortable, but we slept well regardless.

Overall a clean and affordable room during the week.
Pros:

Very conveniently located to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse.
Friendly staff and clean rooms with exception of carpet.

Cons:

Carpet in rooms should be replaced with hard flooring so it cleans better.
Weekend rates were unaffordable.

Pros:

Great location! Near to restuarants, gas, and a laundromat. You get a view of Mt Rushmore right from the motel! The 24/7 coffee was great!

Cons:

WiFi was so slow it was unusable, even loading a google search page was impossible. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan and bathroom door didn't always close properly.

Pros:

The staff were kind and helpful. The room had a microwave and fridge. I was upstairs and was able to use the elevator. I had a really nice view out my window. The local village has nice eateries and shops.

Awful. Left early.
Pros:

Paid extra for back in Creek site. No Creek. I understand we are in a drought but even if there was one, it was behind the hotel so that was our view. Along with campers on each side of us with hardly any room and nowhere to walk dogs. Flat, gravel spots and the shower house was so far away. The front desk clerks were wonderful. They get the star!
