Safe and clean. Staff are friendly
Noise from upper floor, there were events in upper floor and noise was disturbing
I stayed at this hotel because I came from abroad for my engagement. I hadn’t visited Alexandria in over 5 years, and I chose this hotel because it was close to my fiancée’s house.
Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The hotel hosts many sports teams, and the noise was constant. People were running, shouting, and laughing in the hallways, so I couldn't sleep or rest properly.
I clearly explained to the receptionist that I was coming for my engagement and needed a quiet room. He was polite, and I even thanked him when he said he had upgraded my room. However, moving me from the 9th floor to the 3rd floor, where the noise was much worse, didn’t feel like an upgrade.
I also felt that guests were being categorized, with some placed in better and quieter areas while others were placed near the sports teams. This honestly affected me, especially during such an important occasion.
The only positive thing was that the manager came to speak with me and tried to help after I complained.
Overall, a very disappointing stay. I hope the hotel pays more attention to guests’ needs and treats everyone fairly.
