Bad experience
Pros:

The location was the only thing good about it.

Cons:

Everything, the mattress was horrible, the carpets were stained, everything was on the verge to fall apart. I do not recommend that place.

Very welcoming but the hotel needs a BIG revamp and a BIG clean
Pros:

I checked in , room was on the ground floor, dirty, marks in the walls, broken chest of drawers. I did not feel safe and put off with the dirt on the wall. I asked to change room , the staff was understanding and nice about it.
The other room , the hot tap was wobbly, you could not get the curtain to shut properly in the bathroom , so no intimacy: the window is overlooking on the main road with a pub opposite.
I appreciate it was only £31 but did not except such a low standard, very very old carpet, gloomy,.

Cons:

The receptionist was very nice and friendly when I checked in.
The gentleman who helped me change room was very understanding.
The hotel needs a BIG refurbishment and BIG clean.
Carpets , walls , towels are off bad quality, shower plugs open...

shaken up by the whole experience
Pros:

convenience

Cons:

I don't expect much for £31 a night. Just clean and safe. I only used the hotel because it was close to an old friend I was visiting. I arrived back to my room at 1am after an evening out to find a strange man asleep in my room on MY BED!! They had a key for the room. They had made themselves a cup of tea, using the only cup in the room.

They did quickly leave the room, and being tired and late, with an early start I just went to sleep. The staff seemed indiffrerent when I mentioned this the next morning.

Pros:

Clean bedding. Tea coffee facilities. Great electric shower. Great price. So can’t complain. Alana he receptionist was friendly and helpful that comes with a smile. Very good location near to many amenities

Cons:

Sound from next door feels so close. There was this woman chatting loudly on her phone in the courtyard that can be intrusive in the middle of the night.

This was a nice place and a good value. The kind staff made up for any shortcomings.
Pros:

The staff there were phenomenal , very helpful and sweet and kind. I absolutely loved that they had an electric kettle with coffee , tea , sugar and cream.

Cons:

I didn't like that they didn't have a miniature bar of soap in the bathroom for me to wash my hands. I didn't like that they didn't have a bath mat outside the shower. The internet connection was horrible. On booking.com I booked for one night but I ended up staying an additional night.

Absolutely diabolical hotel.
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Everything. Charged £112 for 2 nights, plus a £10 parking fee (that didn't even get used as we checked out the same day we checked in) The room was extremely unclean and a major concern for health and safety. There was black mold in the bathroom, the bedding was dirty and stained, there were exposed carpet grippers, the window ledge was dirty, the hot tap on the sink was loose. This place needs to be refurbished or closed down completely by environmental health! When I asked for a refund, I was then told via message that I wouldn't be able to get a refund as the morning receptionist had said that "stayed in the hotel and checked out this morning", which is a LIE. Please stay away from this hotel.

Very Short Stop
Pros:

Good staff, not much else, good WiFi, was only there a few hours

Cons:

Room next door arguing all night. Not hotel's fault.
Better than klausk in Helsinki whose staff and directors operate an overt visual discrimination scheme.
