Location, great for me.
I've stayed before and it was great so didn't think twice about going back however the renovation work was really intrusive. Impact on rooms not fully considered, noise levels so bad had to ask for the duty manager. Also design of refurbished rooms really challenging in the size of the shower. Not the most restful stay but ironically still the best hotel in the area.
La colazione, soprattutto servita da Maria e il caffè espresso di Severina.
Accessible access
Room very comfortable, lovely big bed and view was beautiful. Loved the big rain shower head.
Breakfast was fantastic staff very attentive especially Saeed.
A bit noisy when conference’s were on.
The aircon wasn't working, and we had to be placed in separate rooms my entire family and I
Nothing
Bad decoration (old and not pretty), cheap soap and shampoo in the bathroom (very bad quality for a room that’s 200 pounds per night). Food expensive and not that great, the breakfast isn’t worth the price. Cold rooms, old curtains, carpets, beds, and furniture. Poor sound isolation, the doors of my room didn’t even touch the floor. There was a wide gap between the door and the floor.
Veramente ottimo hotel nuovo staff eccellente,la cosa migliore però la colazione veramente top e ringrazio tanto Maria e Severina simpatiche gentilissime
Excellent sports facilities with Saunas and Swimming pool, great location on the bank of Thames river.
For 5 days of my stay I did not have hot water in the shower (luckily I could use the sauna...) and although the stuff smiled twice to say they will fix it, nothing was fixed. Also the rooms sound isolation is bad and I was able to hear many neighbours in different hours of the day...
All
Noise
Location and the friendly staff, except the manager who was behind a screen so we never saw them.
The room we were given had no hot water, so as we had a quick turn around to get to a concert after a lot of flapping, eventually we were given another room.
This has just been renovated, unfortunately the over the bath shower, which was fixed in place squirted the water past the end of the bath over onto the toilet and flooded the bathroom.
This was my 5th stay at the hotel and it continues to meet and excel each time. I took my friends this time and they too love it. The lounge/eating area was being refurbished but that did not matter, the members cafe was exceptional. The breakfast was beautiful and the staff there were so cheerful, helpful and polite. The reception were the same. The leisure facilities are fantastic and we used the courts too, and did not want to leave.
Nothing
Location
Small room, tiny bathroom and shower.
Window had main hotel AC extractor and kitchen fans outside as view. Smell from kitchen coming directly into window.
Completely overpriced.
Lovely room. Swimming pool great. Location very good. Staff all very helpful.
Not that we didn't like but it will be better when the refurbishment to the breakfast/ dining room is complete.
Setting and facilities. Staff very kind. Love the area
Bit of a gamble with rooms. I’ve had good rooms in main building but I’ve also had unpleasant rooms across the carpark which felt like an overspill facility.
Everything accept cold pool
Pool was cold

fantastic facilities for families. play parks, sports facilities, boating on the river, shady grounds around the property. During the heatwave it was the perfect place to spend time. Staff were most helpful.
