Some 1, 2 and 3 bedroom suites are equipped with king-zipped beds in each bedroom that can be split into two (twin) single beds. Location, size of room and complete amenities
We had a wonderful four-night stay. The apartment was immaculate, comfortable and in a fantastic location, just a short walk to Macquarie Centre and the Metro. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in and our stay effortless. We especially loved relaxing on the balcony, where we were treated to visits from the local cockatoos each day. We’d happily stay here again!
The only downside to our stay was the parking. The apartment’s car park has a maximum vehicle length of 4.5 metres, so our Hilux ute wouldn’t fit. There is a nearby public car park, but accessing it was frustrating as it required downloading an app to book and open the gate. The parking area is also on what appears to be an old building site and is completely exposed, which didn’t inspire much confidence. We honestly parked the car expecting it might not still be there the next morning, so we were very relieved to find it safe and untouched.
Well designed, well furnished. The staff were reactive and well trained.
The television was a co.plete mystery. It claimed Android streaming but nothing worked. Random unitelligible messages repeatedly appeared on the screens.
Good service
The most important thing is that this company stole my $100 dollar deposit. The reason why is that they alleged that they smelt smoke after we left but I find that hard to believe because I don’t smoke anything. So the only conclusion is that they are just trying to take peoples money from their say so and without presenting any evidence to support their claim.
Convenient spot being right near a shopping centre. The staff were amazing. So accomodating. The pool was great and the room was clean. I’d happily stay again.
The Meriton is yet to disappoint me. Great staff, clean and comfortable and always in good locations for the district. This one being across the road from Macquarie university hospital (and campus) and Macquarie shopping centre. I needed daily access to the hospital and this place was by far more comfortable than others within the district and closer too (with the exception of the one hotel on the ground of the hospital which is unpleasant and overpriced for what you get).
In contrast the Meriton offer well sized and well appointed suites, great amenities, and by memory they are Aussie owned.
There is no breakfast. Location was excellent for the purpose of our stay. Parking was excellent for $25/day.
Great location for what we needed. Very short waking distance to the Woolcock Institute for an appointment we had. Macquarie Centre is directly across the road with absolutely everything you could imagine. Easy to find. Accessible. Very clean. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Rooms were comfortable, good size and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.
