Funky hotel which is central to all the sites and lovely staff

Pros:

Posizione ottimale per visitare gran parte delle bellezze di Roma a piedi. Hotel pulito , personale gentilissimo.

Cons:

L'hotel non ha ascensore nè dalla reception alle stanze e nè soprattutto nelle scale del palazzo che lo ospita. Unico aspetto non positivo come invece è stato tutto il resto.

A charming, memorable stay with thoughtful extras in an unbeatable location.

La amabilidad del señor del counter

Cons:

La habitación era horrible, exageradamente pequeña e incómoda, no debe medir mas 10 m2, ruidosa, con muebles viejos, dos camas cortisimas con cubre cama 100% poliester de la peor calidad. Ese tipo de habitación no vale ni siquiera 50 dolarea, menos los 248 usd que pagué. Reserve habitación con cama doble interior y me dieron creo yo la peor habitación del hotel.
No tienen elevador y tuvimos que cargar 3 maletas 4 tramos de escaleras, después de pasar 3 puertas y esperar a que alguien abra desde arriba y nadie se ofrece a ayudar a subir las maletas.
Los alimentos que dejan para desayunar son de la peor calidad.
Booking no debe permitir que se anuncien como un hotel de 4 estrellas, eso no es un hotel, es un hostal con acceso y habitaciones muy precarias.
Solo pudimos abrir el carry on y en el pasillo de entrada, obstruyendo la entrada a la habitación y al baño pudimos abrir una maleta para poder sacar algo y debiamos cerrarla para poder abrir la segunda o para entrar al baño o salir de la habitacion.
Mi peor experiencia!! Booking no es de fiar con lo que permite postear.
Debería ser obligatorio respetar las condiciones de lazreserva, tamaño de habitación, tipo de cama y vista, e informar si no hay ascensor y cusntos pisos de escaleras hay que subir las maletas.

Our stay at Hotel Barrett was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The staff was exceptionally attentive, the hotel was very clean, and the amount of food provided in the room was truly incredible—more than we could possibly eat!
I would especially like to mention Ricardo at the front desk, an excellent person who was always kind, helpful, and pleasant to talk to. He, along with the rest of the staff, went above and beyond to assist us and helped us plan our visits throughout Rome and the Vatican.
Thank you very much for making our stay so enjoyable. We are very satisfied with our experience at Hotel Barrett and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

Fantastic experience!
Pros:

​Everything was absolutely perfect! The hotel’s location was fantastic, making it incredibly easy to walk around Rome and explore the local streets, shops, and markets. The room was comfortable, beautifully maintained, and provided a great place to rest after a long day of walking. The staff was welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout our entire stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
