Lagos Avenida Hotel

Literally everything about our stay at this hotel was wonderful. The room was clean, spacious, and well equipped, modern but still with a breezy, cool, natural, effortlessly chic feel. The location was close to everything, and we were even able to find street parking for our rental car relatively easily nearby.

The service was outstanding. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, genuine, helpful, and simply fun to chat with.

The rooftop pool was beautiful, with an amazing view, and so refreshing after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic. Everything you could want and then some, and the food was excellent. Which isn't at all surprising considering the restaurant is Michelin-star level for dinner.

We made reservations and had dinner there one night, and it was one of the best meals of my life. Every detail was carefully curated, every bite was memorable, and the entire experience was exceptional. The sommelier was also incredibly knowledgeable and picked the perfect wine pairing for us.

Lastly, and this is a small thing but every detail counts, they stock Castelbel Porto products as the hand soap, body lotion, and shower gel. I've been trying to figure out which scent it is ever since because it smells absolutely divine. I wish I knew so I could buy it and use it all the time.

A must-stay! We were so fortunate to spend three nights here, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The location is perfect, the modern minimalist design is beautiful, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We also loved the beautiful swimming pool and the outstanding gourmet breakfasts, which featured a wonderful variety of delicious regional specialties. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return!

What a delightful hotel-conveniently situated if, like us, you arrive by train-an easy walk from station. Overlooking the Marina and lifting bridge . This means a bit of road noise at night but worth putting up with . A short walk into town. Staff were helpful and breakfast buffet and cooked offerings, outstanding. Clean and stylish rooms ( although we weren’t keen on the current trend of having the toilet and shower as part of the bedroom, albeit separated by a curtain! )We had to leave before breakfast on the last day to catch an early train-the staff kindly insisted on giving us a packed lunch for the journey.

The staff were all very pleasant & willing to help in any way. Our room was comfortable and clean. Our restaurant dinner was fantastic. Each morning we had a wonderful breakfast with many options. The roof top pool/bar was comfortable, especially after a full day of walking. We were able to walk to the hotel from the train and it was close enough to everything for us to walk to. It was a wonderful stay.

We stayed at the Lagos Avenida Hotel for three nights. The rooms are nice and spacious. We walked all over the area so it's convenient for walking. The hotel is easy to locate because it's right by the walking bridge. We enjoyed the rooftop pool. The hotel staff is very helpful and the breakfast they offer is excellent. We really liked the Lagos Avenida Hotel.

We had an exceptional stay in Lagos for our first visit to algarve. It was An amazing hotel. The staff were kind, the breakfast great. An amazing location as well.

Lagos Avenida Hotel is perfectly positioned — close enough to walk to the charming old town, yet quietly set apart from the tourist bustle. Whether you're arriving by train or bus, the hotel is an easy walk from both stations.
We stayed in room 403 — a generously sized room with double balconies. While it doesn't overlook the marina, the space and the outdoor areas more than compensate.
The service was great. We had an early departure and, rather than letting us miss breakfast, the staff kindly prepared a packed lunch for us to take on our way. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting the Algarve.

Great location Lovely staff and great à la carte breakfast Heated pool on 5th floor is a dream Lovely comfy Bali beds .Michelin star restaurant is a bonus in this hotel it is expensive as all Michelin stars are Plenty options to check Menu pre booking We had a lovely room facing Marina and no noise issues thankfully Highly recommend this hotel with great location and one can walk everywhere Thanks to Gabrielle in reception for her courtesy ,professionalism ,and so accommodating with our reservation .
