Broken, unfixable AC in our room.
Pros:

Breakfast was quitre good. Up to Embassy Suites standard.

Cons:

The air conditioning in our room did not work. We called the front desk. A hotel engineer came to our room. He could not get the AC to work. He brought us a box fan to help cool our room.

Not the hotel it once was
Pros:

Stayed here many times for various reasons. This visit was less than stellar. No shuttle available any longer. Extremely limited options for the complimentary happy hour. Rooms have aged with marred furniture and lumpy carpets. $200 plus hold at check in. Just overall disappointing. Will choose a different property when visiting Syracuse from now on . . .

The breakfast was nice and the guy who makes the omelets is fun

Cons:

the cleanliness of the room. the first night I was walking barefoot and stepped on a small piece of glass (I assume from the previous tenant) and was bleeding. ok it can happen to anyone but generally with the use of a vacuum cleaner it would have been avoided.

Clean and beautiful. The staff needs to be taught how to welcome ALL guests, the customer care.
Pros:

Average. I was missed the appetizer, things like broccoli, salads, or cucumber. Meat was very salted.

Cons:

Staff did not show me where the elevator was located or the floor where my room was located. He did not check my identity to make sure he had the right person. After he asked my name, he then asked me to swap my visa card and gave me the electronic key. I thought he should check my driver's license to the name I stated to him.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this property. The location was excellent and very convenient, which made the overall experience even better. The hotel was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and I appreciated having plenty of room to comfortably settle in with all of my belongings.

The bed was very comfortable, which allowed me to relax and get a great night’s rest. I was also very impressed by how friendly, welcoming, and professional the staff was throughout my stay. Their kindness and hospitality made me feel valued as a guest.

Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience and would gladly stay here again in the future.

Cons:

The only thing that I wish could’ve been was the bar and restaurant to be open a little bit later. Being on vacation or I guess being away from home, I don’t typically go to bed as early, so it’ll be nice to have those options or even room service. Another thing it would’ve been nice if the gym was a tad bigger maybe had a Smith machine or a little bit more equipment to get a nicer workout.

Drag racing at night on road adjacent to property
Pros:

The receptionist forgot to turn our wifi access and phone on. We were there on a Friday... and from 9-1 AM all we heard were cars drag racing on the road between the mall and the hotel. It was very loud!!

Cons:

The lobby was modern and normal and the breakfast buffet was nice.
