UNIQUE PLACE
Pros:

This hotel is one of the best locations to stay downtown and affordable. Its a boutique hotel with beautiful, unique decor. I absolutely loved the rainfall head shower. The regular rooms were kind of small and the beds are a little low to the ground so if thats not you're thing, then you'll be disappointed. But it was enough room for me and my cousin. We had 2 double beds. So order one of the upgraded suites if you want a larger space but for us being there for a concert and the price you cant beat it. The elevator can be wonky at times but seems like it didnt stay down long. The people were friendly and the candy bar had good drinks. I didnt get to try the other two bars but maybe next time, because I'll definitely be back even with the few quirks, this place has character.

Paying for convenience to stadiums. This place is for drinking, sleeping and leaving.
Pros:

The bed and blanket

Cons:

No amenities: no microwave, no iron, no fridge, no food at siren cafe. Claimed short staffing caused food shortage…ice machine is in scary basement instead of being on a middle floor or 1 st floor. Lighting is scary and feels like outlook hotel. You could get attacked. No pics cause I was mad.

Great little boutique hotel experience
Pros:

Wonderful staff, comfortable rooms and exceptional cleanliness. If you are not put off by the $50 valet fee before you even enter the front door, it's a great little hotel.

Does not live up to its “boutique” hotel by hype
Pros:

The only positive part of this hotel was its location. There was nothing unique or “boutique” about the hotel or the rooms. Rooms were small and the bed and pillows uncomfortable. The noise from the surrounding outside areas carries into the room and continued until about 2am each night. We were on the 5th floor and the sounds from the street were extremely loud.

Pretty little place
Pros:

The Siren is a very pretty little boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Detroit. It's location is perfect with walkability to many things. It's charm is evident as soon as you walk into the lobby. The staff was very kind. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect!
Pros:

This hotel is so so cool. The location is amazing and the staff was great. Our only complaint was that the thermostat would not turn down and our room was stuck at 75.

Do not use Hyatt points here or expect anything
Pros:

Waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check me in. Music was so loud no one would have heard if I yelled for help. $150 for a 2pm check out which is normally free for my Hyatt status. Also didn’t explain that it was limited to only a few guests and needed to be requested immediately when I checked in. One bottle of warm water in the room. Coffee bar closed / none available for purchase. Line out the door at the same coffee bar the following morning when I came down for a coffee. $50 overnight parking. Felt like a hostel. Priced like luxury. Would never stay again. It was cute tho.

Perfect downtown location
Pros:

Great location. After hours bar is small, and was not able to get in. Hotel is 'vintage', so the elevator doesn't run well. Friendly staff and had a wonderful stay.

Think like an older, well-traveled soul.
Pros:

If you don't plan to spend much time i your room and love a cozy, atmospheric lobby with a hooping bar scene, this will satisfy. Guest rooms are spare and amenities minimal, save a wall mounted flat screen TV, bathrobes, and ahem, ahem, romantic lighting (don't hope for a log comfortable sit with a good book. Pay for your coffee in the cafe downstairs, enjoy the retro feel of the lobby, which is charming, and check out the old phone booth. IF you can spot it. Parking expensive, but the hotel has a valet. At the time of our stay, $50 per day. Garages and some street parking nearby. Close to venues like CoMerica Park, MGM Grand/Casino, the Opera House, Detroit Art museum and a shortish drive Michigan Central, a truly magnificent restoration and labor of love, dedication, and taste.

Great location — ok hotel
Pros:

We stayed here for 2 nights during the Movement Music Festival. The hotel is overpriced for what it offers. The location is perfection though. Staff at the registration desk were slightly rude. Service at the candy bar was so poor that we left. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Bed was great. Will probably try a different downtown location for our next trip downtown.

Amazing Stay
Pros:

The ambiance of the Siren, is exactly how the pictures are. I enjoyed the movement weekend vibe, with the line up of Djs in the lobby that played the entire weekend. No complaints at all!! The bonus was the Candy Bar!!!
