Nice hotel and room and staff however charging me 75$ to check in at 1 is an inult and never seen before in 40 yeara of travel.
Location
Some rooms are pretty noisy due to being adjacent of neighboring big AC systems. Had to change room, but staff was very helpful and accommodating.
The hotel is located in a wonderful area in terms of restaurants and night life. We were on the 3rd floor and our executive king room was noisy. The most concerning thing I'll mention is the tub/shower situation. The tub was very deep making entering for me difficult (I'm 5'3''). The tub floor was very slick and didn't have a mat of any kind. Very unsafe. We compensated by using the bath in the tub for traction. Climbing out was an adventure even more difficult than getting in. The grab bar in the shower was good for nothing. The housekeeping staff were pleasant and our room was cleaned and tidied up daily. The coffee shop staff were pleasant and friendly. The hotel seemed clean.
😝😝 i am giving them 3 stars ⭐️ only because Emily Hotel charged me $55.36 for 2 , tiny 8oz water bottles,, tiny trial mix and a chocolate bar from our bedroom, I did not know I was getting charged for these items my thought was they were complimentary since this is a high end hotel !! When I called to complain they gave me the running around until i talked to a manager who only gave me a $25 credit … I was looking for a full refund 😝 Yet I have to say front desk personnel were courteous and pleasant and they deserve 4 stars ⭐️

Perfectly located in the West Loop. Close to fabulous restaurants and nightlife.
Trendy Hotel and friendly staff!
The property in its entirety was beautiful. However, my window view of the neighboring commercial property of their air conditioning system with the deteriorating deck was very lackluster and killed my entire vibe for my first time in Chicago. I was too exhausted to go back downstairs to ask for a better room with views.
Great hotel, super clean , great amenities , I loved the stay and will definitely be back !
Very expensive, very basic room, $600+ per night. Arrived to hotel at noon and was told my room was ready but since check in is 3pm I would be considered an “early check-in” and would be required to pay an additional $75 to take the room early. In 62 years, traveling to various parts of the world, this had never happened to me. I will never be back. I travel to Chicago at least once per month and thought I would try your hotel. Never again. No other hotel I have stayed in Chicago has had this extra pay policy.
Stayed the weekend at this weather loop boutique hotel. It has everything you need but not a luxury property. Very efficient and modern designed room though small. The room takes advantage of its space and provides all that we needed. Enjoyed both the restaurant and coffee shop. And the location is great if you are looking to be close to the west loop restaurants.
Great stay! The sheets could use an upgrade but other than that, great location, great food, nice ambience! Would stay again.
Tv kept shutting off. Called maintenance but he could not fix it. Kind of a pain to watch tv having it shut off every 5 minutes.
A good stay at this hotel. Nothing fancy and pretty basic surroundings in the room, but everything you needed.
We had a loft suite which was very large but it was not separated between rooms. Oddly there was only one garbage can in the whole room and that was a small can in the bathroom. There was a mini fridge with drinks in it and some extra room for some of our own bottles, however there was no microwave. The valley service was very good. Check in was quick. No checkout required as they just email you the bill. Chicago charges some high taxes. We had lunch and I had the pork belly Benedict which was very good. My wife had the Smashburger which was also very good.
The accommodations were lovely - fresh, spotless and with all the amenities we could ask for!
