Wonderful service
Pros:

This hotel really has great customer service. From the moment we pulled up to park our car or destiny greeted us with enthusiasm and ready to help unload. The Front Desk was also extremely friendly and accommodating. We also had dinner at the Italian restaurant sat at the bar with the bartenders were very friendly and the food was fabulous. We highly recommend this hotel. It’s walkable to everything.

Great stay!
Pros:

We always love staying at Kimpton locations. They are very friendly and go above and beyond to ensure that their guests are happy. We were in town to see Jack Johnson in concert and the valet service mixed up our vehicle causing us to wait a little longer than normal. It wasn’t a big deal but the valet manager (can’t remember his name) insisted on comping our valet fee. We were so impressed by him taking that much pride in his service that he would do that without us even complaining about the delay. Anthony was also very helpful with our bags when we were leaving. Thank you to all the Kimpton staff for being awesome!

Amazing stay
Pros:

If I could leave Tre more stars, I would. My son and I stayed at the Kipton Tryon Park hotel in Charlotte, NC for a single night to go to the Charlotte FC game on 8-22. The hotel was beautiful and clean and the all the staff we encountered was wonderful but Tre went above and beyond from beginning to end. His level of customer service, professionalism, manners, and demeanor are above what I've experienced from anyone. My son and I were checked out and in the parking garage when my car wouldn't start. The battery had died overnight and we were stuck 2 hrs from home. I went to the desk where they got the valet manager to find their jumper cables. Tre came down with them but they weren't strong enough to jump it. Im in tears at this point. He was kind and patient, even went as far as getting his own AAA out there to help us out. I hope this establishment knows how beneficial he is to their company and does whatever they have to do to keep him there. Thank you, Tre!

Great Customer Service
Pros:

My experience at the Kimpton Charlotte was AMAZING! The customer service from all valet and front desk personnel went above and beyond our expectations and we will most definitely return! Building rapport with strangers is not always easy in such a short period of time but Destiny and another guy did just that. I can’t recall his name I want to say he went by Mar. Thank you Kimpton Charlotte for such a great experience

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at the Kimpton Tryon Hotel in Charlotte! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and the staff throughout the property were welcoming and professional. The location was perfect, and I truly enjoyed my experience. I will definitely be staying here again.

Cons:

The only disappointment was my experience at the rooftop bar. My group and I stood directly in front of the bartender waiting to be served, but he repeatedly skipped over us to help other guests who arrived after we did. After waiting for quite some time without being acknowledged, we decided to leave and visit another bar instead. His behavior came across as very rude and unprofessional, which unfortunately took away from an otherwise amazing stay.

Great for couples getaway
Pros:

Perfect hotel for a couples weekend! Close to everything, including the Bank of America and Spectrum stadiums and the roof top bar was awesome as well. Staff were professional and valet were cool, especially Caroll and Destiny. Will be back soon.

Amazing experience
Pros:

Absolutely had a great stay and enjoyed everything. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing to include the rooftop in the evening. Loved our room. We used a ride share when we wanted to leave the hotel or walked to local restaurants. Perfect location and view. From time that we arrived til the time that we left. I wish I wrote down everyone’s name but everyone I interacted with was great! Destiny brought our truck down and was so helpful getting us out (let us know when road was clear due to buses blocking any clear view to the main road. Very grateful to the entire staff this weekend (Jul 24th-26) for the relaxing time.

A exceptionally well oiled machine!
Pros:

Everything was perfection from the valet crew to the front desk, beautiful room with a view of the city, to the amazing rooftop restaurant. All my cares and needs were taken care of! The hotel itself is like a combo boutique and resort. I will definitely be back!!!

Awesome customer service!
Pros:

If you ever visit Charlotte and need to spend the night, please reserve your stay here. The customer service was top notch, rooms were spotless, and within walking distance to several places! The atmosphere was welcoming with being greeted by every employee. Valet parking attendants very helpful. Thanks Ruben, Anthony, Caroll, and Destiny.

Nice..........but
Pros:

Let me start with the pros. This hotel is convenient to aspects of downtown and the walkability to the Bank of America stadium. The restaurant inside was expensive but food was amazing! Roof top bar has very limited seating, so reserving a table is highly recommended. All staff were very friendly. Bathroom was very clean! Pros- For the money spent per night, the beds need to be replaced. Mattresses are very thin and wore down, NOT comfortable at all. The pillows are the same, very thin. Overall stay was good, but sleep is important and the mattresses and pillows do not suffice. Also, this is a pet friendly hotel, which is good but- they should inform guest without pets that they are staying on a pet friendly floor. Those with allergies should be at least notified during check in.
