Plenty of parking
Had an early start so couldn’t have breakfast. Receptionist was a bit grumpy at check in, maybe because it was the end of her shift but its a hotel and I can’t help what time we arrive and check in, that’s why I booked a hotel!! I spoke to another receptionist on Thursday night asking for information and she was lovely and all other staff, Night porter/receptionist and morning receptionist,were great.

Had a brilliant stay at the village hotel the room was absolutely beautiful and couldn’t fault a thing! The food was amazing and the staff especially Jimmy are thoughtful and lovely
We stayed for one night as a chance to catch up with friends, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The entertainment was outstanding, with a fantastic mix of 80s, 90s, and 2000s music that created a fun and lively atmosphere throughout the evening. The disco was a real highlight and had everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast selection was excellent, with plenty of choice and high-quality food to start the day.
The leisure facilities were superb. We made full use of the pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi, all of which were well maintained and perfect for unwinding. The combination of great entertainment, comfortable accommodation, delicious breakfast, and excellent spa facilities made for a truly enjoyable break.
We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

Friendly and efficient booking in process
The bar shut earlier than expected but this did not affect my stay at all
Firstly the location of the hotel is perfect, a 5 minute drive from the harbour at Port Solent and only an easy 10 minutes into Gunwarf Quays to satisfy your shopping needs. The staff were exceptional, the room was clean, today and felt like it should cost a lot more then as we were about to leave we filled our stomachs on the unbelievably good unlimited breakfast. It is the only hotel we consider staying at when we visit Portsmouth again.
The room wasn't very large, but it had a desk with a swivel chair. We also found an ironing board and iron.
The bed was large and extremely comfortable.
The bathroom was spacious with smart glass walls. The opaque version is prarically invisible. The shower was really large and very functional. Air conditioning and free parking.
On the ground floor, there is a pub and a Starbucks.
There also are a gym and a pool, but we didn't use them.
