We love this place! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pros:

The location was perfect as it was close to Sanjo station. The room came with kitchen and washer/ dryer, which was really helpful for our long stay in Kyoto.

Pros:

Choosing Gion Hanny Stay for this trip felt like a second home; it was warm and comfortable. The surrounding transportation and dining options were very convenient, and you could also choose to buy ingredients and cook in your room – a wonderful experience.

Pros:

Todo súper limpio. Camadas cómodas y almohadas también. Toallas de sobra y albornoz de verano. Todas las comodidades en la habitación familiar.

Personal excepcional. Hemos viajado muchas veces a Japón por trabajo (somos youtubers + bloggers) y de todas las veces que ha habido un problema... pocas veces se nos ayudó.

La implicación y el trato del señor Santos ha sido la mejor del mundo. Nos ayudo en todo momento con problema grave que no tenía nada que ver con el hotel y se ofreció a ayudar.

Recomiendo totalmente este hotel por todo.

Un 10 de 10! Mil gracias, hasta el año que viene.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Sanjo Keihan station. It is a five minute walk from convenience stores, and less than a ten-minute walk from the north side of the historic Gion district.

Cons:

I wish there had been instructions not to fill the washing machine more than half full--clothes get wrinkled if you overfill.

Perfect long stay option
Pros:

This was a perfect stay option for our family. Staying an extended time it was nice to have laundry, a kitchen, and a refrigerator. The location was easy access to the local konbini and transportation hubs and an easy walk to main shopping areas. The room was bigger than some of the hotels in Japan. We had two rooms for our group and it was so affordable!

Cons:

The beds are pretty hard. But I slept pretty good. So just be prepared for a very solid mattress.

Pros:

Amazing location, right in the center. The hotel is amazing, the room is spacious, there was everything you need, the kitchen is very convenient, the beds are very comfortable. The staff is very nice. We had a wonderful time in Kyoto and had a great rest in a wonderful, comfortable room.

Excellent kitchen and bathroom
Pros:

An easy walk from two stations, and into the Gion district. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent set up for self-catering with lots of utensils and instructions for all the appliances. A big advantage having a washing machine and drying function in the bathroom. Great value for money.

Cons:

I needed ear plugs to block traffic noise in the morning, though nights were quiet. I found the bed a bit uncomfortable.

Ok ma sì può migliorare!

Ottima posizione vicinissima alla metro, alla zona vivace del centro di Kyoto, Harashiyama si raggiunge a piedi.

Cons:

I letti sono molto duri e scomodi e i cuscini troppo bassi. Avendo trascorso 5 notti a Kyoto, ciò ha condizionato anche la qualità del sonno e del viaggio
